Home Depot rant: bare shelves, boxes on the floor, near dead plants, merchandise that hasn’t been put away, employees who don’t know a screw from a nail, not enough staff, store is not clean. We usually come to this store fore convenience but it’s not convenient when you can’t find what you need. Unsatisfied customer!

You can do it, we can help is a lie. Owings Mills, store #2507. This wasn't my first ridiculous experience at this location, but it was about the worst. I spent a good 15 minutes pacing several aisles near the lumber department, looking for an orange apron to cut some oak lumber. (When you sell lumber by the linear foot, it would be nice to have someone there to give me the linears I'm looking for!) Found one! Oh - he doesn't handle the saw but he'll page someone. Good enough. Five minutes more and still no one. Flag down another orange apron who also doesn't work that area and she pages for help in the lumber aisle. Another five or so minutes and a couple of other people have them page again for help. STILL no one after another 10 minutes. Not one orange apron anywhere near the lumber, but plenty at the front of the store running their mouths or taking their time shifting product around trying to look busy. Hey! Home Depot! Your business model is garbage! I know it's an outdated concept these days, but you used to hire people with product knowledge and a willingness to help. I'm sure you're not paying them much, but whatever you're giving your employees is wasted money. That goes for lumber, lawn & garden, seasonal, plumbing and, with the exception of one guy whose name I can't recall, tools. And please don't bother to respond with that tired empty apology how this is unacceptable and how you'd like to discuss this further. I won't call you to discuss what you could see for yourself by walking through the store. Ever seen the show Undercover Boss? Try it.

Without a doubt the worst Home Depot I've ever been to. No one ever offers to help, and when you ask for help most clerks are rude or seem irritated. That is - if you can find a clerk. Place is always a mess too. I'm finally done going to this location - it is worth driving to a further away location for far better service.

Bought a toilet at THIS Home Depot at 6620 Reisterstown Rd. in Baltimore. The toilet did not have the fittings in the box so I took it back. They gave me the fittings. Then when I went to install the toilet, it was clear that the seal was worn, as in this NEW in a taped sealed box was a USED and RETURNED toilet that then re-shelved as new. So disgusted with this ghetto Home Depot. Never shopping there again. I will have to go out into the county, to LOWES in the white neighborhoods to get good service. Sad that the only Home Depot on the West Side of Baltimore in a mostly black neighborhood is such a poor store. It should be shut down if they can do no better than this.

We had Home Depot come out and do an estimate for our floors. They scheduled our installation, made us wait weeks for a custom ordered part, and then the day of the install their contractor decided they couldn't do the work we'd already paid them for. After weeks of waiting and clearing out the entire floor, I'm now left at square one because this store is apparently not competent enough to notice an issue before taking your money and wasting weeks of time. DO NOT EVER consider using this Home Depot for flooring, they are incompetent on a level that is staggering.

I can not express how helpful CJ was this morning. He was able to help us with the purchase of a generator today. The service that he gave today was impeccable. Thank you so much!

Went to home depot to return a item Today the lady wasn't happy to help me. She said she didn't want the return. I told her I didn't rather it was the wrong size. She came back with wee we sell tape measures. I took my refund for $4.82 and walked out. Knowing I needed items from there. I drove over to Menards and spent 187.50 that terrible customer service by council bluffs Home Depot. Thanks Menards for being close by

The previous reviews of this location speak for themselves. Every time I visit this place I feel like I'm bothering the associates. Today especially, I was greeted with "what do you need" and even a "get out of the way" when the forklift was coming down the aisle. Needed some wood cut and the associate was not happy about having to help. There's a major lack of basic customer service at this location. The difference between this store and Owings Mills in terms of customer service, selection, cleanliness etc. is significant. Would not recommend this location.

Probably one of the worst of the bunch. Customers not a priority here

Whenever I shop at "big box" hardware stores I don't expect much in terms of expertise, however, we one should at least receive good customer service. To ensure cashier's are always needed I have a personal rule to never use the self-checkout...and the ONLY person who appeared halfway pleasant was the young man who was my cashier. The others I encountered in the store were not really "customer service" focused. Given the number of reviews which appear to same the same for this store, it might be helpful for a district-level manager to frequently review Yelp.

Customer service is horrible, pro-desk is the worst out of all Home Depot's in the area there's a particular woman there she always has an attitude at the pro-desk as if I'm asking for the materials I purchase, we spend thousands of dollars every week, they need to be properly trained or fired. Or send them to the Home Depot at eastern avenue or parkville Home Depot to get trained. Simple horrible in every aspect.

The customer service at this location is horrendous. We bought a grill grate and after putting it on the grill and not even cooking with it, we realized it was too small. We went to return it and they claim they are not able to because it has been used. So Home Depot would rather lose customers instead of the $10 for the grate.
