I recently purchased a Toyota Sienna from Heritage Toyota Catonsville, and my experience was exceptional. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Sales Manager Aweis Mohamad, and the rest of the team were incredibly helpful, addressing all my questions and offering valuable advice on choosing the right vehicle for our family.
The dealership has competitive pricing and a clear breakdown of all costs. One of the highlights was their transparency which made the paperwork much smooth.

I recently visited Heritage Toyota Catonsville on August 27, 2024, for routine maintenance using my prepaid Toyota maintenance plan. My experience was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.
Issue 1: (Inexperienced Service Advisor) I understand that sometimes service can take longer than expected, and I had no problem waiting for over three hours for an oil change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection. However, what truly bothered me was the completely naive approach of the service advisor. She was new and struggled to complete the paperwork, which took far longer than it should have, even with the help of another employee. This lack of efficiency and professionalism set the tone for the rest of my disappointing experience.
Issue 2: (Incorrect Mileage Recording) Two days after the service, I checked my Toyota app and noticed that the mileage was recorded incorrectly. At the time of service, my car had around 61,450 miles, but they recorded 66,462 miles—an error of over 5,000 miles. This mistake not only affected the reported service history in the Toyota app but also in Carfax. I tried multiple times to reach out to the service department to get this issue corrected but received no response. I eventually had to go back in person on Friday to report the incident. They took a photocopy of the service documents and assured me it would be fixed within a few days. However, despite calling and leaving voicemails for Nautica from the service department, I have yet to receive any follow-up or resolution. This is beyond ridiculous and utterly disappointing.
Issue 3: (Neglectful Multi-Point Inspection) Before going in for service, my glovebox wasn’t closing properly, and I noticed that one of the joints had come loose. I assumed they would fix this while checking the cabin air filter as part of the multi-point inspection. Unfortunately, after checking yesterday, the glovebox was still not fixed, leaving me to wonder if they even bothered to check the air filter at all. I ended up fixing the glovebox myself after watching a few YouTube videos—it was a simple push to get it locked. This only further diminished my trust in the thoroughness of their service.
Overall, I’ve completely lost faith in Heritage Toyota Catonsville. The lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and unprofessionalism have left me feeling devastated and regretting my decision to trust them with my vehicle. I would strongly advise others to think twice before bringing their car here.
P.S. I have attached proof of the mileage discrepancy, including a screenshot from the Toyota app and a photo of my actual mileage taken just five days before the service.

Ten stars for Calvin Parnell Sr, Mohamed Aweis and Mike G...
From the time I walked into the sales department and was warmly greeted by Mohamed and Calvin, I had a most enjoyable experience (And I had not been looking forward to my car buying mission.). During the entire process, I was very much at ease, never felt pressured and my many questions were completely addressed by Calvin. Mike is a professional. He is a manager in the finance office and ensured that the handling of the necessary documentation and paperwork was efficiently done.
My needs and goal were met. So, I drove away thankful and happy in my new car. I strongly recommend the services of the team that I had the pleasure of working with at Heritage Toyota.
