I retained Todd Heise after one of my investment properties in West Baltimore had repeated problems, and I found myself sinking deeper into the sunk cost fallacy. As I looked for a way out, Todd steered me away from potentially risky contracts and solutions and helped me find a reliable solution to my real estate problem. I subsequently used him for a sale of another rental property and the process went seamlessly. When I think of all the help he provided, I felt hiring him was one of the best investments I'd ever made. If all lawyers were like him, lawyers would have reputations like nurses and the world would be a better place.

My family owned a building in Highlandtown since 1927. For years, we discussed selling the property but never got around to it. I became the manager for the family in August of 2020 and made it my mission to find the best agent to market and sell the property. After connecting with three agents, I knew that Todd Heise was my man.The initial conversation left me feeling as though he was totally understanding of our situation and didn’t make me feel as though the “sky was the limit” when it came to pricing. We listed in October and had a solid contract in December. I was prepared to give this one year and thrilled when we settled in February.Todd made this go so smoothly and kept me focused on the prize - sell the building for the best price possible while not having to bend over backwards to make the buyer happy - it was a great building in a wonderful location.I must say that I wish I had other properties to sell, both commercial as well as residential, I would look no further than Todd. He was extremely helpful in going over the terms of the lease, explaining them to me and making sure the landlord honored the terms of the lease.
