Has to be by far the WORST internet/WiFi company around. Stay far away as you can.

The worst internet provider ever!! Since living at my apartment this provider has been an absolute disaster. Ive never experienced this type of internet connection ever. If you are about to live at a complex with this provider please be aware. You'll never be able to get any work done from home or literally anything that requires wifi. I pray xfinity or atat buys you guys out. Something needs to change.

Notice how all their 5 star reviews are years ago. Now this internet sucks. Don't use it.

Looks like GigStreem has closed its Virginia based Google page so posting here because they have just changed their agreement with UDR to increase their mandatory package at my UDR managed building under the guise of increased internet speed. This would be nice but their reliability doesn’t hold up enough to even experience increased speed. It appears GigStreem has an agreement with UDR (and additional corporate managed rental properties) with the goal of “integrating” wifi across an entire building for a streamlined experience. All new residents are required to pay Gigstreem’s internet package fees… It sounds good in theory but I was only in my building for one week and there were two days of outages. If the other reviews are any indication this will happen again and frequently at that (check out their closed Virginia Google page). If the internet did not go out so frequently and when it is available it wasn’t spotty I’d deal with the required purchase from this internet service provider but now I’ll have to pay for another provider ON TOP of this very much undesired package. If you are in the same situation just be aware and know that purchasing a more reliable provider may just be something to deal with short of stopping this practice that is detrimental for the consumer and a source of income off of a sub-par product for the property management and GigStreem.

Beware if you move into a complex with this company. They r some of the worst internet providers I have ever dealt with in my life. We r in a new complex and since we moved in 5 months ago the internet has been nowhere near the 500/500 they r promising, and the hard line internet is nonexistent and the WiFi is so finicky it’s more reliable that it isn’t going to work well then if it was working properly. The call center can’t do anything and can’t give u to some one higher up as they arnt in the same area so the person u get on the phone is the only person u can talk to. The complex I currently live in has units that hav not had any internet in almost 3 weeks and our unit is up to almost 2 days at this point with no internet and no clear time frame of when it might be fixed because the head technician has to look over the file b4 they can dispatch a tech that may or may not be in the area to ur unit to look at the problem. And the internet tends to work properly after a technician shows up for about anywhere from 1day to 2 weeks b4 it goes back to sub par service. and they will also promise time slots for technicians to show up and then that time will come and go and no one ever shows up or they show up anywhere from a few hours to even 2days later. This company didn’t even realize for almost 2 weeks that they never turned the internet on in our unit we were just piggy backing off of other units and the free guest WiFi for our common areas. Just avoid this company as a service provider at all costs if u are dependent on internet for anything u do

Worst provider ever. If you work from home, forget it. You’ll never get anything done. Customer service sounds nice but never helpful. I’ve spent countless hours having technicians over, but nothing ever worked.By the way, what happened to the other Gigstreem reviews with over 90 one-star reviews? It’s marked as “business closed” but clearly it’s not.
