I’ve lived here for over 5 years and I honestly have zero complaints. No package theft, no unauthorized guests, no strange smells or vermin or any of the other nonsense I read about on other apartment reviews. Management and staff are very kind, and maintenance requests are always done in a timely manner. The only thing that would make my experience better, would be hardwood floors, or new carpet. Lol! People complain about everything and it’s honestly appalling to see such behavior from fully grown adults. This place deserves higher reviews and I’ve had a wonderful experience as a 5-year resident. So, here we are.

The building itself is nice, and the location is great. Management is incredibly disorganized, and does not properly communicate. They’ve lost legal documents and created fraudulent charges on the residential portal.I was denied access to the apartment building while still being a paying resident, due to the leasing staff deactivating my key fob. Despite bringing it to their attention several times, it was never reactivated.

Overall living here was a good experience. I really enjoyed the location of the place, the friendly and helpful 24/7 front desk staff and the quick responded maintenance team. However, things started going downhill in the past couple years, but I was fine with all the changes. What really bothered me was the frequent false fire alarms triggered in the middle of night or early morning. Recently I had a new neighbor moved in next door who smokes 24/7 which made my cat got accurate asthma symptoms and made me physically sick as well. After communicated with the property management team, I was told that there isn't much they can do because it is not a non-smoking building. They can't ask resident to smoke outside. All they can do is to seal the gaps in the outlets on the shared wall next day which obviously didn't solve the problem at all. I had to break the lease and move out as soon as I can for my and my pet's health concerns.

The customer service is a disgrace. Office management is incompetent.

My boyfriend lived here for 2 years. The front desk staff was always amazing, that is the best thing about this building. During that time, the hot water would frequently be low or gone while showering. When trying to figure out the price to re-up the lease, we looked for the leasing agent repeatedly and they were never on-site.However, what makes this review one star is their dishonest charging practices AFTER you decide to leave. They advertise themselves as very pet-friendly but the hidden catch is they will charge against your security deposit to replace all carpets, even though landlords in the state of Maryland cannot legally charge to replace from normal wear and tear. My boyfriend took great care of the place, no stains or tears or burns or anything in the carpets. So just know that you've got a whole apartment's carpet replacement charge coming if you move here with a pet.Additionally they claimed they had replaced the carpet in his unit before he got there, which we know is a straight up lie because we know the previous tenants of this apartment. They are just illegally trying to increase their profits to make up for all their vacant units. I'm telling everyone I know to avoid moving here. I will update if they reach out and fix this.

I lived there for 2 years, i only had to leave because i wanted more rooms. The manager “Wen” is amazing and very helpful, the maintenance guys and front desk too. They were like a family. I strongly recommend if you are looking for a single bedroom near downtown Baltimore.

Cons:-Major problems with AC/heating. It's been upwards of 80-90 degrees in my apartment everyday for months. Heat stays on till May and the electric radiator leaks heat even when it's off, making the apartment uncontrollably hot when the sun is out (most days). I have multiple fans running at all times, close my blinds during the day, and open all the windows at night. Nothing helps!! I've spent more days at 80+ degrees than I have at 70 degrees in here.Pros:-Reception staff, particularly Chris and Sandy, are great.-Good location.

Highly recommend Gallery Tower because of it's great location, friendly front desk staff, and responsive and knowledgeable maintenance team (who were always very kind to our cats). The property manager, Wen, is very open to feedback. Chris and Sandy at the front desk go the extra mile in making you feel welcome whenever you come home. The building, which feels very safe, is located next to the Marketplace and The Walters Art Museum as well as walking distance to Penn Station. The only reason we moved was because we bought our first place.

Best place I've lived in a long time. good amenities, great management (Wen is very easy to talk to and does the best to accommodate what's possible). The team is also one to remember, everyone at the front desk is super nice and helpful. Shout out to Chris for maintaining reasonable connection and conversation with practically every resident. Also its right next to the marketplace and there's a great bar downstairs in the building. Again lovely place to live

Couldn't have wished for a better experience. The apartment is well-maintained, clean on arrival, appliances are decent, maintenance comes almost immediately for urgent matters and early in the day for non-urgent issues. The loading dock and dollies makes it really easy for moving furniture (and the occasional massive load of groceries). We had issues with both dates of moving in and out of the apartment due to COVID-related work issues. They were able to accommodate this uncertainty and were flexible. Best of all are the people who work there, friendly, helpful, and pleasant always. Will miss my stay at Gallery Tower for sure.
