I have been purchasing meats from this establishment since the early 90's as well as my mom and grandparents have. My mom always gets her corn pig tails from here. I went there Saturday because I had a taste for Beef liver smothered in gravy with onions and this has always been my go to place for liver and my other meats. When I got the liver home, I prepared 2 pieces of the 4 and it was very tough. As i tried to cut from all angles hoping for a tender piece, it never happened. After eating a couple forks, not enjoying it, I threw it out, other 2 pieces I had placed in the freezer. When I got to work Monday, went up there during my lunchbreak to try and solve the matter. I told the owner of my experience and told him I still had 2 pieces home in the freezer. His response was "you have to be careful not to overcook it" then he walked away. Everyone in their right mind that has prepared this dish, including him, even if he never has, being in this type of business he should know how it's prepared. That after you fry the liver you let it simmer in gravy as long as you like, so there is no such thing as overcooking it. Even if you fry it longer than you should it won't be tough and hard as that liver was. He did not try to please a long time customer, never tried to make things right, and regardless of what types of meats I need in the future, I would go out of my way before I support the Fellners again.

This is a very nice place in friendly I love the meats they are very fresh too in they are one of the few places that have Boneless ShortRibs!!! So Tender. Great Customer Service

The staff is very knowledgeable and (unlike another butcher) very friendly. Their prices are very reasonable. And, of course, their meat is fresh and yummy. On this visit I bought sundries tomato and basil chicken sausage. It was superb!
