This place is dangerous and dirty. Come at your own risk. Then they have the nerve to be expensive. You’re better off at Walmart or anywhere else besides here. This is a poor, high crime area and everything In the store is expensive. DO NOT COME HERE EVER!!! Or bring your gun and wallet.

I come in the store to grab something quick and easy. They are no other customers in the store. The cashier and another employee are literally taking minutes trying to find one their employee numbers for an employee discounts and have me waiting in the line with NO ONE in the store. I felt this could have waited 20 second for me to check out my one item and leave.

So from a Truck Drivers Point of view... The area behind the store where the dumpsters are and where the old pharmacy drive thru is, is infested with Rats, you can literally see them running if you take a stroll around the building. This might be the dirtiest family dollar (surrounding area) I have ever been to and that is saying something. There is trash all over the place as well as broken glass and clothes from homeless. A few homeless people hang out at the back of Bolero Lounge (looks like thats their drug deal spot).So truckers beware, keep your windows up, doors locked, the store has bars on the windows at night, that probably tells you something.The staff wasnt very talkative but seemed friendly enough though not very energetic, slow unloading process; but with the amount of people, seemingly intoxicated, that hang around this store and the level of rodent infestation outside the store, some reviews suggest that has traveled into the store, I am a bit surprised there is a business here at all. Doesn't give you a very safe feeling.

I was very disturbed by unruly young woman in the store being loud and disrespectful inside the store. They were throwing items and running around as if they had no common sense whatsoever. After watching them throwing items and almost hitting a lady with a metal object, I notified the manager. No type of security was present. I left my cart and left. It is ridiculous that people allow their children to act this way. Perhaps they need to NOT allow anyone under 21 years of age to shop without parental supervision. SMH......

Absolutely LOVE this Family Dollar in the Save A Lot plaza they're fast friendly, customer service is great the other Family Dollar near the Farm Store was a mini version of Wal-Mart lines it was chaos in the making
