First off the hotel is seriously outdated for what I paid that night I could have stayed at a 5 star hotel the elevators barely worked they are old and dilapidated the room was clean but not modern it looked like an old hospital or nursing home, the staff were ok noting to write home about the courtyard was ok breakfast was cool, but for this to be a Marriott branded hotel it doesn’t live up to the name and your flags need to be taken until you renovate I am gonna drop a line to Marriott corporate or this is a franchise hotel

The room had wallpaper peeling off the wall, and overall could use a refresh. The coffee pot was missing but the front desk brought one to us the next morning. The bed was comfortable and the halls smelled like stale cigarettes. No room service but snacks available for purchase in the lobby and free breakfast.

Safe area in close proximity to Johns Hopkins University, attached to an upscale mall with plenty of garage parking. Although it's close to Johns Hopkins, there is no direct public transport, which is a little disappointing. An Uber will cost about $30 round trip. The construction didn't cause any disruptions, and the desk staff was very professional and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The bar needs a little help, but I'm told that will come during renovations. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but they were ok. My only real complaint is that something woke me up every morning at 4:30am for three days. I could not pinpoint the noise. Sounded like a man taking very loudly. Luckily, the air conditioning fan almost drowned it out. As long as the price is reasonable, I will stay there again.

When we arrived we understood the were preparing for renovation so overlooked the outdated furniture and accents. However, that does not excuse faucets coming from the wall, ripped curtain from dry rot, built up dirt and grime in the bathroom, tough mattress and soiled sheets. When we asked for replacement sheets we were told to come down and get them ourselves. This is the worst Marriott property ever. We will never return.

The hotel is hidden behind a shopping center that they have been renovating for at least a year. Finally a very nice restaurant there. Cece's. Breakfast was adequate, room was nice, elevators need to be upgraded. Recommend.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Two of my top priorities are cleanliness and bed comfort and this hotel exceeded expectations in these 2 areas. There's also free parking just underneath the hotel. Hotel is also located in a shopping area which is also pretty cool. Free breakfast. Friendly staff.

Hotel is staffed with thieves. I recently checked out of this hotel about 5 days ago. By the next day, I learned that I left a pair of black sneakers behind accidentally. It blended in with the dark carpet color, as the lighting is low in some areas of the room, which is why I missed it. I called the front desk as soon as I realized, and conversed with Davis about the issue who expressed that this issue could not be addressed over the weekend and had to wait until Monday when the housekeeping manager returns. The fact that I had to wait did not make sense to me, especially since I later learned that my room was cleaned by the housekeeping staff the same day I called. I did not understand why Davis could not just ask the housekeeping staff who were present for the day if they discovered the sneakers. If it were me, I would go above and beyond for my guests, and check the room the same day as opposed to waiting for two whole days later for a manager to return. When the manager returned on Monday, I was informed that they could not locate the sneakers. This proves that the housekeeping staff either stole the sneakers, or that they did not vacuum the room after my stay, because if they vacuumed and if they vacuumed correctly, the vacuum would have hit the sneakers on the ground and they would have discovered the sneakers. I am very disappointed in the staff, and how this situation was handled.

Property could use a refresh. No real problems. Staff was great and were very accommodating. Room had high ceiling and airy feel. Lighting could be improved. Only real negative was the hallway marijuana smell.
