I went to Chuck’s for the first time 5 years ago while visiting Baltimore from New Jersey. Since then I have been back 7 times. I try to stop as often as possible. It’s literally my favorite place on earth, the vibe, the food, and the service are amazing!

I was looking for a place I could grab a seat at the bar and eat brunch solo on Saturday, and after striking out at a couple of the hot spots around I stumbled into Chuck's - and I'm really glad I did! No wait for a single diner to sit at the bar, a latte that surpassed my expectations and a damn good cocktail, and the rancheros skillet was tasty (albeit not quite hot, but still delicious). I didn't know what to expect from this hole in the wall but I'm really glad I took the gamble. Highly recommended!Vegetarian options: Plenty of non-meat options

Food is EPIC. Coming here a few times a week for years, breakfast is awesome, so are sandwiches. Shrimp and grits is heaven. I even took my honey to the valentines dinner they had, so good and not expensive. Place is a gem.

Love this place!!! We used to come when it was still a convenience store to get snowballs after the pool and can confidently - I don't miss the snowballs because the restaurant is sooooo good! Great food and great cocktails- the staff is always sweet and attentive! ❤️ I miss the chicken sandwich they used to have, but there's no shortage of great dishes on this menu!!

My 2nd visit to Chuck's and it was really yummy. I ordered the very delicious Rueben. Prices and portion size are very reasonable. Lastly the staff are really friendly and welcoming. I felt very much at home.

First time here . Heard about this place via tick toc so I had to come try their smash burger . The place its self was cute ..definitely gives off a cozy diner vibe. The place was clean and not crowded at all . I was a little disappointed (but also impressed ) that they only served local brands of alcohol. When tryna come up with a substitute for not having grey goose, crown royal or henessey… our server went asked for help and another server was able to give the best recommendations doff the top of her head without thinking twice. I loved that . Our server raved about how the smash burger was and he was right . The burger was made fresh and was absolutely delicious especially once bacon was added. I was sad the burger didn’t come with fries but the chips still got the job done . I wish the menu offered more but for the price I paid I can’t complain. If ever in the area, I definitely would come back .

I did go on a weekend so there was a 20minute wait. The location is not ideal in terms of finding parking but it is in a residential area so youight wonder if your lost when walking to it.

I really like this place. Has a 36th street address, but isn't on "the Avenue ".Has had great food on all my visits. Sat a little too close to door for current weather, but was glad not to wait for table. Just wish they had some parking area

I remember when Chucks was a corner grocery where my students used to grab their pr before school chips. This new spot took that old school round the way grittiness and made it nouveau gritty. Decor aside the food was too notch! We had a large party so expected a little wait but all our food was spectacular. Steak and Eggs was cooked exactly medium and was super tender. My Redneck Skillet? Nothing redneck about it. It was downright bougie with the Nutella French toast topped with fruit! And the $3 demi tasse of espresso caramel macchiato was creamy, sweet, and had just the kick I needed. I will definitely be back.

Food was delicious and service was fast. I got the Seoul skillet and it was amazing. Perfectly cooked bork belly with flavorful kimchi with potatoes and two over easy eggs, a unique breakfast option for sure. I also got a single pancake, good flavor but fell apart once you put syrup on it. Nonetheless still 5 stars from me. And with all the mimosa flavor options we were there for quite a while. We stayed a little past close and only realized when we looked around and it was only staff there ? but they never made us feel rushed and we finished our mimosa while casually chatting. Definitely a new staple for my brunch list. I sadly didn't get any pics but trust me, it's amazing.

Great food, in a super duper charming spot. Sat at the bar and the gal recommended the Marco Pollo — outstanding.
