I was shopping there this afternoon. I saw a dress I liked and saw a girl go into the fitting room before me with no issue. I waited for her to finish and went in there after. There was no sign or anything. As soon as I take off my top off, the sale associate said she has to check if anything was left, I told her I was in my bra and she said she still had to come in. I put on the dress all sideways so I’m not standing in my bra as people walk by. She looks under the shirt I had put on their chair and under the chair saying she had to check under there, as if there was literally anything I was hiding under the chair to steal. It was the most rude experience I ever had and saw that the women before and after me did not get hassled. Maybe it’s because I’m a woman of color. Awful experience. If you want someone to wait for an associate before stepping in the dressing room, put a sign up. Or treat all the customers consistently. Or don’t come in when I say I’m in my bra. Awful service.

I went to The Gift Shop on their opening morning, and could not be happier with how cute, fun, and perfect this shop is! The owners were also super giving and sweet and gave the first 50 shoppers a swag bag, as well as free drinks and snacks. The colors of the store are fun and vibrant, and as usual, the clothes for purchase are stylish, the accessories are wonderful and hilarious, and the quality of everything is great. I cannot wait to regularly shop here for myself and others!

Great place with good clothes and pretty decent prices. Lily was awesome! In addition to helping us around the store, she also suggested some good spots around the area for us to see. Would definitely recommend stopping by!

Super cute selection of clothes and nice staff. They are a great place to find gifts too they have a ton of cute candles, jewelry, and funny miscellaneous items!

I came here on a day out with friends. The people working there were friendly, but I ended up waiting outside while my friends shopped because the shop didn’t carry anything in my size (which is usually a US 16 or XL/XXL). Definitely not an inclusive store sizing-wise, so it was very uncomfortable place to be in since my friends could find clothes in their size but I couldn’t.So disappointed because there were a lot of clothes that I did like but did not accommodate my size. If you’re plus-size, you’ll probably only be able to buy accessories/jewelry here. The only sizes I saw were XS-L :(

The customer service at Brightside is unparalleled! Every time I go shopping at their store their staff is beyond kind and happy to help me pick out whatever I need for any occasion.

We stopped in mostly to do some window shopping. The women working were so friendly and accommodating. They had some pointers for the products such as how to get more from the shower bars. What a great store!

I bought something from this store and it got a hole in the seam the first day and they won't take it back. It also took them longer to get back to me than I had the item. Terrible business practices. You can also buy this item on amazon.
