This may seem odd as a representative of K-9 Kraving that I am leaving a review, HOWEVER, I too, am a customer of K-9 Kraving. Currently, I have 3 furr-kids, all rescues, varying breeds, all different ages. Since joining my pack, they have all been fed K-9 Kraving diets. Abbey is the matriarch of our pack. A 14yo Jack-ChiChi mix. For the most part, Abbey has been an easy keeper over the years; trimming her nails and weight management were our greatest challenges until about 1.5 years ago. Out of nowhere, about every 4 months, Abbey's ears and paws would become infected, and transferring to her mouth from licking/scratching. Each visit & pharma treatment at the DVM was leaving me with a $180 - $200 bill. But more frustrating than the cost was not knowing the WHY it was a reoccurring challenge. Chicken, Beef & Veg (or) Chicken & Veg w/ Mackerel were the standards in our house with only K-9 Kraving dried treats for foraging snacks. One day, as I was creating technical posts for our FB page, I personally focused on the benefits of one of our most under-appreciated diets, Rabbit, Duck & Vegetable. This diet has ant-inflammatory qualities and is also low in cholesterol, excellent for senior canines.....DING, DING, DING!!! For Abbey, I made the connection that older dogs have different needs... We made the switch in January 2023. FFW to today, Abbey is the leanest she has ever been, inflammation & infection free for over 4 months (WOO-HOO) and more active than ever! She is actually playing with toys. I couldn't be happier with the difference the RDV diet has made for her. In Abbey's case, the inflammation was triggering licking and scratching, ultimately resulting in infection. With RDV diet those triggers have been neutralized. So over the past year I have been using K9 Kraving 2 lb Patties beef, chicken and vegetable in box/vacuum sealed. The box of Pattie’s held the color and texture of red meat with little to no freezer burn or browning. My dog loved them!!!! I received the new 5 lb bags (all 3 bags)of Pattie’s which were extremely dark brown in color, they were freezer burned, and did not maintain any color/redness or resemblance of raw meat. I do wish to change brands but unsatisfied with new packaging and the Pattie’s in 5 lb bags.Just a follow up after reading the response from K9 Kraving. I do like K 9 Kraving as it seemed to be best. I will switch back to the #1 pound rolls! Thanks for the response and I do understand why the packing was switched just not a fan.

K9 Kraving has been an absolute godsend! My dog wouldn't touch kibble, even balked at canned foods of any protein source. Once her first bowl of K9 Kraving hit the floor she inhaled it! Within three days her skin cleared up, her eyes were clearer, she had more energy, and is finally excited for food! With multiple protein sources I can mix it up and keep my dog interested. Being a puree means it is also easy to add berries (and other things) for an extra punch of antioxidants. It is also more affordable than a lot of other options because they focus on quality and not marketing. The customer service is excellent and very transparent. No dog should go without food this high a quality, you can never go wrong!

Appreciate the transparency from Scott and the 17 years of dedicated experience he brings to the product we are selling—promoting and building healthy pets through a food (not feed) pets respond well too! Customers comment that the palatable consistency is well received versus many other market products.
