This was a suprise and I couldn't have imagined a better one. Captain Bobby was so knowledgeable and friendly the time flew past. We talked about beer, cannonballs and pirates! Would absolutely go again.

This is so much more than a boat ride around the Baltimore harbor. My sister, brother in law, boyfriend and I had an amazing time. I recently moved here and wanted to plan a surprise activity for my sister. This was perfect. Great communication with Captain Bobby earlier in the day regarding possibility of rain. The Captain and First Mate Adam are so friendly and funny. We asked a ton of questions about what we were seeing in the harbor, history of Baltimore, even pirates. Capt. Bobby is legit a hilarious historian and natural story teller, but also will give you space to do your own thing if you don’t want his awesome info. I would recommend Sail Local to anyone who likes a good time. Honestly will probably go again in the future.

We had a great time. Captain Bobby is friendly , knowledgable, accommodating, and well humored. He not only took us around the harbor, but he’s a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the history of the ships, battles, etc. we’re already talking about going out with hun again.

10 out of 10 - a perfect activity with the kids and great way to see Baltimore from the water. Very fun, but also relaxing as you sail along, listen to your own playlist via Bluetooth, and snack and drink - luxurious!

Scheduled a 2 hour sail for the family to celebrate my wife's birthday. Booked process was super easy and Captain Bobby communication throughout was excellent. Throughout the 2 hours we got lots of little nuggets of Baltimore history and fun facts about the harbor and its ships. As a fairly new transplant to the area it was great way to learn about Baltimore connection to the ocean. Highly recommend for any special event.

My fiancé easily booked the sailboat for the two of us less than 24 hours before the experience. Making a reservation was easy, Captain Bobby had great communication and met us right at the dock. He and his first mate, Adam, were prompt and we loved chatting with them. We had some champagne on the deck in two comfy lay-flat chairs, heard about the history of Baltimore and felt so relaxed. The team had flutes for us and helped us hook up to the Bluetooth speaker. It was such a nice experience and we'll definitely be back!

Amazing experience with Captain Bobby and Adam! Did the sunset sail with a group of 5 for a bachelorette party and we could not have asked for a better time. Both were knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. BYOB (and snacks) and they have complimentary Prosecco as well. Highly recommend for visitors and locals alike!

My husband and I surprised our family with a midday sail while they were in town and we had a fantastic time. We have been following Sail Local online since they started and were thrilled when we discovered that Bobby is the same kind, funny and enthusiastic person you see in their videos. The day we went had less wind than we hoped for, and the fact that Bobby was able to make it such an enjoyable experience speaks to the type of person he is and business he runs. We will absolutely be doing a sail again!!!

Our experience with Boat Baltimore was nothing short of exceptional! We booked a 2 hour cruise and were delighted by the friendly crew, who were not only knowledgeable about sailing, but also shared fascinating local military and maritime history throughout the journey. Their communication was excellent, from the booking process through arrival for the cruise. I would highly recommend Boat Baltimore to everyone looking for a memorable sailing experience in Baltimore!

I have been following Sail Local on Instagram for about a year now. I live in Georgia and my daughter lives in Baltimore and I come to visit about twice a year. I had been dreaming of the day when I would get to sale with Captain Bobby and crew. As it worked out, I was able to book a day sail last week. The experience was everything I hoped for! Captain Bobby was so kind and accommodating. I was really interested in hearing the local history and little bit about what day-to-day was like as a as a charter captain and he was so giving of his time to talk to me and share. The weather was amazing that day! It was breezy and hot, but on the water it was magnificent. When I was booking, Cpt. Bobby was checking the weather to make sure that It looked like I was going to get an optimal experience on the water. I can’t say enough great things about this business and the people that run it. I really appreciate his focus on customer service, his undying dedication to Baltimore and his willingness to serve his community. It is a beautiful thing and I am grateful.

This past June my family and our friends had the pleasure of taking a boat ride with SailLocal in Baltimore. We had about 20 people on the big boat and it was a perfect size for our group. Bobby and TJ (the captain) did a wonderful job helping us celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday with a fact filled relaxing trip out the “Key” bridge and back. We learned many “Baltimore” facts and history tidbits while enjoying the cool breeze on an exceptionally hot day. Bobby had assured me it was cooler on the water and it was!! I highly recommend Bobby and Captain TJ for wonderful adventures on the water!
