It is not just the under salted sandwiches and the cold coffee; some of the staff is so rude that I shudder to face them. A great place to be barked at in the imperative mood.

Coffee House doubles as a book store. Bookish environment inside, nice patio outside. Breakfast and lunch options for pretty much anyone who walks in the door. Standard coffee house offering. Wife gave the chai latte a thumbs up. If you like your coffee as dark roasted as possible (like I do) you won’t find that here but their medium blend was fresh and has a flavor complexity you won’t find at National coffeehouse chains. Friendly staff. Well kept up dining area. Right behind the Study at John Hopkins.

Here's a very cute and local bookstore, just around the corner from the Johns Hopkins University Homewood campus. Great atmosphere and service. They sponsor events with local authors. In addition, the serve some food items. Come in and see.

Love this bookstore/cafe. I was there for a book signing and author speaking event. It was a great space for that kind of thing. I didn't eat there but did enjoy a cup of coffee which was delicious. The staff were very nice and helpful. I could tell they enjoy what they are doing.

I got a matcha latte that was great, but my breakfast sandwich was just okay. I wanted a little more flavor on it since it was pretty pricey for an egg sandwich. Also, not too much seating inside so it was packed... not the worst thing since there was also a long shareable table

this is a cute cafe by jhu homewood campus (and the closest one I think) so it is extremely crowded. it's pretty hard to find a table inside and it feels like a competition to get one when someone else leaves. the matcha lattes (my usual go-to order) aren't the best and the drinks are pretty overpriced for the portion size. i think it's a nice place to chat or study (if you can manage to get a table) but other than that, the drinks aren't too memorable.

I love the ambiance of this place. It's on the corner nice and tucked. The flavor options are unique. I got an iced rosemary honey latte and it was delicious. The cafe houses a bookstore as well with a plethora of cool books, also the music selection here is top tier. Definitely a place to get work done and relish in the moment.

I'd say this is a cute spot. The food was not impressive, I'd skip. The coffees on the other hand, I do recommend. I'd give this spot an overall 3.5 because of the vibe and friendly staff. Check out more food spots on Instagram /Tik Tok: @thefoodhigh

I like the vibe of the cafe, their coffee is nice, good for studying and working. The thing I didn't like is the unpredictability of their closing times. One time, they said we have a private event which they close for it 2 hours before their usual time. The second time, we just sat there for 30 mins and the guy was shouting that they need to close the cafe due to a conflict with their management!I would recommend the place but the uncertainty of when they will close is not professional at all and may ruin your plans.
