These guys are the best! I brought a Dyson DC15 into them that would not power on. It turns out the power cord was bad which they replaced. It had another weird issue where the beater brush would not engage when the power button was depressed. Guy who is the owner figured out that one of the power switches that controls the brushes was wrong. The Dyson schematic for this had the wrong part number listed. He replaced that switch with a momentary switch and now the vacuum works perfect. They are very fair with their pricing and they stand behind their work. They also explain things to you first before doing any repairs. Highly recommend them.

In addition to affordability, knowledge and customer care… If you ever get a rock stuck in your vacuum hose just stop, fishing it out with a screw driver will not work, the screw driver will get stuck…. Using a swifter pole on the other end to try and push them both out won’t work either. Walking into the store like a scorned child hiding your atrocity, being asked why I have a swifter sticking out of my hose and exclaiming there is a screw driver and a rock in there too while displaying my handy work with a smile…priceless. P.S. prior to this adventure they have fixed previous vacuum cleaners of mine, sold me my current one at a great price and they do cleanings too that will have your floor feaster sucking like day one.

The shop owned & run by father and daughter is small but don't let your expectations be limited by that. They are friendly, sell quality products, are knowledgeable, and make a genuine effort to help their customers, both with purchases and with service/repairs.. . .Specifics#1I had a good quality but older out-of-warranty canister vac with a damaged hose. Parts are now limited thru manufacturer and I was not even able to find one online. I went to Bagdons for advice and maybe help repairing it. The owner took the time to examine mine, and he decline to take it in to attempt repairing it NOT because he wanted to sell me a new Vac but largely so I would not be disappointed or upset if the "fixed" hose failed again later. However, he did take time to offer suggestions and some Do's & Don't's if I were to attempt the repair myself.I was impressed with his rationale and with willingness to to time to advise and guide me.BTW I did attempt the repair and it was successful, beyond what I had hoped for.#2Despite the repair and the fact I had a working vac again, I decided later on that I would treat myself, splurge and buy a new high quality vac. I returned to Bagdons and bought a Miele canister vac. Unfortunately, for some reason, the first time I used it, I experienced a problem with loose dirt going into the canister's bag compartment. I wanted to be certain it did not get into the motor & cause damage, so being new & under warranty, I contacted Miele directly. They directed me to two "authorized" repair centers in my area.The comparison with how I was dealt with by *both* of these service centers, even after I said I was referred by Miele USA, was in sharp contrast to the way I was dealt with at Bagdon's, even the first time when I went for help and wasn't making a purchase. Ultimately, tail between my legs, I went back to Bagdons, was told not to worry, they would check mine out to be sure there was no damage or other problem. In a matter of days I got a call my vac was checked out and ready for pick-up. They even replaced the dirty unusable bag (possibly faulty) with a new one.. . .I highly recommend Bagdons Vacuum to anyone.I respect the owners for their business ethic and for the exceptional customer service they provided. This experience reinforces my commitment to supporting local businesses.I could have bought the new vac online, maybe for cheaper.But I would not have had the service & support I received as a customer from Bagdons.

The owner is very knowledgeable and great person do to business with. Recently purchased a Miele vacuum, which is amazing at cleaning up after 3 German Shepherds and 3 cats!

Been going here for years! Family owned, and professional, at a fair price. They’ve been keeping my Kenmore “Whispertone” going for years, along with my Hoover. It’s so great that there’s still a service where you can actually get these things fixed, instead of them being dumped into landfill.

I was having an issue with my bissell, spoke with an associate over the phone and took the shampoo machine to the shop to get a free estimate.. turns out the only service needed was the lid wasn’t closed correctly.. This was my first time visiting this location and everyone was friendly and knowledgeable.. I would definitely recommend them for getting your cleaner serviced or for purchasing accessories and vacuums.. They have definitely gained a new customer.

Came for Bissel warranty service. They tested the machine while I was there, determined it needed to be replaced. Estimated a two week turnaround for a replacement unit and that’s exactly when it came in. Staff was friendly and helpful!
