We were recommended by b and f altlantic marty after they retired. We have three Honda vehicles and today my civic was in for what was told was a bad tire pressure sensor. We were scheduled to replace all sensors for tire pressure and would cost 60 each for 4 sensors with a 80 programmable fee. Upon arrival we were told there were two tires that had punctured and one was unrepairable. ? Talked to Paul but not given good reason why and requested sensors to be supplied so we can test. They put on a small spare tire and no fix as yet. This will need a third return trip which was not what we have experienced with Marty at B and F. Not happy this time maybe someone will look into this.

The Carney staff is highly knowledgeable and friendly. Their prices are reasonable. In fact, unlike other repair shops, they will let you if you can wait six months before a replacement will probably be necessary.

My entire family has been having their Car Care and Repairs here since 1957. I am sad to see this Business has closed due to Retirement. I loved Marty and his crew for their honesty, integrity, and workmanship. Marty and Merritt were the very best ever. Today is a bittersweet day. I am happy to see that Marty retired but sad because I will sorely miss Marty. God bless all at B&F and thank you for all the years of your trusted service to me and my family. I was two hours from home and hit a curb that trashed my tire and possibly screwed up my front end. Had the car towed to Carney Tire while I headed home for work. They fixed the tire and ran diagnostics on the front end. No repairs necessary for that; they didn't try con me into additional repairs. And they were very good at communicating with me even though I was far away. They did a great job.

Worst service ever I had an appointment and the guy refused to put new ball joints on my truck because I have a lift kit on the truck he is rude and a waste of my time and yours

I can't say enough good things about Carney Tire. Service is great and so is the customer service! I feel confident that they are looking out for me and making sure my vehicle is serviced and maintained properly.

Routine oil change had made an appointment prior walked in on time was politely greeted my service tech confirmed what service was being provided and within a few hours returned for pick up. I drive a 2006 Volvo wagon which many auto service businesses would rather not dabble in and was glad they could accommodate me. I'll return for other services.

I found this hidden gem about 4 or 5 years ago, and will take my vehicle’s nowhere else! As a matter of fact, I just got a new(new to me…2018) SUV, and the deciding factor in what I was gonna get was if it was something they could work on(not foreign)!!! They definitely go above and beyond, and look out for their customers!! I would go nowhere else!! If you are looking for a Great Mechanic who takes pride in their work, look no further!!

Took my vehicle here last week to be serviced as it was stalling on me. Brian advised he could not recreate or figure out the issue. Fuel pump, filters, etc were fine. Long story short, he advised that my mass airflow system likely needs replaced, however my vehicle was ABSOLUTELY SAFE TO TAKE ON A ROAD TRIP 3 days later. "I would tell my wife, daughter, sister, etc. it's safe and to drive it it's fine." Wouldn't you know it, my car lost control and died while on the PA TURNPIKE. Luckily, no one was hurt and we were able to get to the shoulder. When I called to speak with the mechanic (just for things to look for etc) I was met with attitude and an "I can't predict the future." (Exactly what you want to hear from someone while sitting on the side of the highway with your young child) This AFTER he swore up and down that it was safe and he would tell his own "wife, daughter, etc." that it is safe and I should continue with the trip. I was offered exactly zero assistance or effort to make this situation right. I paid well over $500 on tows just to get to my destination and another shop. The real kicker? The issue causing my breakdown? My fuel filter. Not only was it filthy, Brian didn't put the fuel filter in all the way. (Didn't click all the way in) The trustful mechanic I took the vehicle to in PA ADVISED THAT there is ZERO chance my car was even looked at by the previous mechanic. And if they did, I was knowingly let leave without notice of these hazardous, EASILY REMEDIED issues. Comforting, right? Not only will I NEVER return, I'll make sure no one else is put in this position by these people. (The automotive store a few doors down had some stories to share about their questionable ethics. All I can say is WOW!) This situation could have been remedied or at least effort made to make it right. Carney Tire dropped the ball big time.

I have been using Carney Tire for several years now to service my vehicle. They have always been very customer friendly. Always check Groupon for a way to save yourself a dollar or $3.

I dropped my car off in the morning for an oil change using Groupon. I was diagnosed with Covid about an hour later. When I called to ask if I could have someone pick the car up in a day or two they said it wasn't a problem and my car would be safe there OR they could arrange to drop it off in my driveway for me. I didn't need this to be done, but considered it more than thoughtful. They did a great, timely job on my car and their customer service is over the top. They will be my go to from now on!!

I called Carney Tire about 3 weeks ago to inquire about credit for tires. I spoke with Michael (I think that was his name). Honestly, his presentation coupled with excellent drive I received on my only other visit (an urgent Sunday battery replacement in a car that Advanced Auto wouldn't install one on) made me want to return. When I arrived, Michael was at lunch, but 2 equally helpful employees, a young man and a young lady, walked me thru the credit process and helped me decide the correct tire for my driving needs. SO, 3 weeks later, a I noticed a screw in my brand new tires. I came right to Carney Tire and they took wonderful care of me. I returned for an appointment to have it replaced and the same young lady that helped my on my 2 previous visits, provided the same excellent service once again. During my visit to replace the tire, I was on an immune suppressing drug prescribed by my doctor and the the young lady happily accommodated my needs by taking my credit card info and meeting me outside. THIS WAS VERY APPRECIATED, THANK YOU!! I can't begin to say how much I appreciate all the employees there. Carney Tire has good people, folks. Although I have a regular mechanic of 15+ years, I will ALWAYS come here for tires and any Sunday urgent car care needs. It's also great knowing a second garage I already trust in case my (car specific) mechanic can't get me in. Thank you to everyone at Carney Tire!!
