I was attempting to get a fuel issue resolved for my 83 year old mother and Jim, a customer service representative told me on 1.19.24, that I could get fuel from the gas station, diesel, because it similar to what’s used in homes. Then he proceeded to tell me that he doesn’t have oil heating and if he did, he’d never let it run out. And I remained calm…Thanks Alliance for the excellent service and advice Jim provided.

Never had any issues with Alliance, but since Carroll has taken over they are ridiculous .Avg heating oil price in. MD Is 3.79$ they charged me 900$ in Jan and 8O0 in Feb, paid 5.09 a gallon, which was the cost for auto delivery! Really price gouging! THEN TRIED TO CHARGE ME $400 to Because I wanted to discontinue Service ! Really?

Best oil provider in my opinion! You may have to wait for your oil delivery but in my experience it's always been within a day or two! The wait is worth not having to deal with contracts, calling for oil, and service plan fees. You pay for the oil you want and then you get it. Absolutely perfect!

Ordered 175 gallons and was given an email and delivery receipts stating it was $754.08 but my credit card was charged over 75 dollars more. The back of the receipt says I have to write them a physical letter to debate the charge. It literally states that if I call them they are not required to investigate potential errors. What kind of company even says that? The receipt also leads me to believe I wouldn't be reimbursed if found to have overpaid but simply credited to my account. What good does account credit do me if I'm never going to order from this company again? *Check your bank statements people! Be wary of this company!*

We have used this company for a few years now. Ive used the online ordering service and have called in orders. The most recent order was online with an expected delivery time within 5 days. It was delivered the next day. Ive never had an issue with customer service. They have always been more than helpful and quick to resolve any issues.

CHECK YOUR GAUGE!Dealt with company for years. Recently our delivery was short! to the tune of about 20-25 gal. It takes forever to get someone on the line at Alliance, emails bounce, i.e get returned as non deliverable, and delivery now takes in excess of 5 or more days to get oil. I've attempted to contact them to resolve, now I'm filing my complaint with Maryland's Attorneys General Division for Consumer Protection. Also, from what I understand, a delivery ticket must me tendered with delivery from the pump meter. All that has ever been tendered over the years from Alliance is a credit card billing receipt showing amount ordered. Something seems to be rotten in Denmark.

Could not fill our tank for some reason when no other company over the past 30 years has had an issue filling it. Gave us the run around for over a month. Kept saying they were coming out and didn't then only put 9 gallons in when they did show up. Then they were supposed to come back out and never did Now we have to pay $1 more per gallon somewhere else because they don't know how to do their job

Horrible Service! Scheduled in November 2021 to get my burner/filter serviced (for April, soonest appointment they had) between 8-12 - and the tech called me with a blocked number at 7:44 a.m. - then didn't show and reported "I wasn't home." This was verified by their switchboard. Then they offered a "re-schedule" for July!!!

Called them for heating oil. They were supposed to come out within 5 to 7 days. Around day 10 they finally came and only put 9 gallons in for some reason. And never told us. I finally checked tank a week later and realized they had not filled the tank. Called them back and they were supposed to come back out and fill it. They never came back and never called or told us anything. Now they say they can't fill it for some reason even though no other company has ever had any issues filling it. Now we have to pay $1 more per gallon somewhere else because they don't know how to do their job

This is the second year in a row that I’ve ordered oil from this company and it was not delivered. I expected to receive a call or something letting me know that the delivery would be delayed. Never happened. It is very unprofessional and annoying.

Amazing experience. Same day delivery. I paid to have oil delivered & my furnace primed. the tech was friendly and honest. He told me to make sure I call the company and request a refund because my system didn’t need to be primed. Called, requested the credit and was told I will get a call tomorrow once it is credited back to my account. Super friendly service. Would 1000% recommend and will be using them in the future.

After years of using this company I just had to switch. First of all they have changed their policy you have to order at least 150 gallons and they now take 3 to 5 days to deliver. Not acceptable I called another company ordered the 50 gallons Ithat i wanted and itWill be here tomorrow

Ordered 200 gallons online yesterday, Tuesday. Was not given a delivery date. When I called today, they said delivery would be Monday because they are on a summer delivery schedule now.

My family used this company for over 3 years and never had an issue. Suddenly we can no longer get our usual amount of oil delivered because now they don’t deliver anything smaller then 75 gallons? AND they no longer accept checks as a form of payment?Terrible change in business policy. They just lost a customer in my family!I highly recommended DIRECT FUEL out of Middle River MD for anyone looking for a RELIABLE heating oil company.
