I called Alex for help with tax related questions on behalf of our Non-profit organization. He was rude from the moment he got on the phone, unwilling to help, and when asked a question an actual response we got was, “I’m not going to bother looking that up for you.” He clearly doesn’t value new clients or how he presents his business.

Alex is professional, thorough, smart and organized. He gives you the confidence that everything has been covered and appropriately cited and he walks you through the process while making sure everything gets done in a timely manner. We worked with Alex for the first time in the winter of 2023 to manage our 2022 taxes. Alex did a fantastic job of communicating clearly and frequently about what he needed from us, when and if there was information needed, and what the timelines and process looked like. In fact, he was even able to adjust some mistakes on our 2021 taxes that resulted in us getting money back we didn't realize we were owed. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with him next year.

My wife and I just switched to Alex this past year since we’d heard good reviews through the Hampden Merchants Association. Alex was able to take stock of our situation (2 properties, rental income, etc.) and made suggestions that put us in a more favorable place, tax-wise. Extremely responsive to questions, too. Alex has done a great job helping me file my tax returns for a number of years. He has been very flexible regarding scheduling appointments to review my tax documents. He has provided a tax organizer or workbook each year to help me summarize all my tax statements. He has been very clear and thorough in explaining to me what I will owe in taxes or what refunds I may expect to receive. He has also been very helpful in advising me what I should pay in estimated taxes each quarter. His professional fees are very reasonable, and he is a very warm, kind, and caring person. I highly recommend him, and I'm very satisfied with his professional services!

My wife and I have been using Alex Blum CPA for the past two years for a few different things, including annual returns, and investment property.He is extremely responsive, organized, and efficient.
