What can I say, a truly unique historic inn. excellent location, I recommend parking behind it if you are by car. Room not exactly clean in terms of linen, check carefully first. For the rest, friendly and smiling staff. The breakfast (5th floor) included is very simple, but it's there. Noteworthy is the terrace on the 5th floor, you exit from the breakfast room, very beautiful view.

Customer service is about the worst I’ve ever seen. And I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 25yrs. Carlos and Ty need to be trained better. Bed was awful, huge dip in the middle of the bed. “Breakfast” was cereal and a handful of bagels and hard boiled eggs.
Worst hotel stay ever. And it wasn’t cheap.

- my last stay after many years as the Inn has forgotten what customer service is.
The hospitality business requires discretion, security and above all else putting your own interests aside to ensure the welfare of the clients.
You won’t find that at Admiral Fell inn.
My experience of leaving an article in my room found it handed over to the City after i informed them i was traveling back to retrieve it.
Upon arrival i discovered they did not only NOT have the item previously secured but gave it to the City.
The results are now attorney fees and reprimands at my place of employment if i still have one
Thank you for your kindness and hospitality towards yourselves

Renovations stage will address some issues like stained furniture and new bathrooms. Rooms were very nice. Unusual layout for a hotel made us feel the history of the hotel and the area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
We'll definitely return!!

I’ve stayed here twice now… just over a year apart. I’m not sure what’s happened but this hotel is much less than the place I stayed last year. Won’t stay here again as there are too many other options in the area.

Had to leave and move to another hotel. Rooms are worn and dirty.
Very frequent business traveler. Checked into hotel and was given first floor room. Room had a very loud mechanical noise that made the room feel very uncomfortable and unusable. I called the front desk to report it and they said they were aware of the situation but the maintenance team had gone home for the day and nothing could be done. No other available rooms. I moved to another hotel and got a refund. Also found out the bar and restaurant were recently abruptly closed. I would avoid this place.

Front desk staff were super friendly, warm and welcoming. We used to live in Fells Point so we know the neighborhood well and how loud it can get at night. We stayed during fleet week, it was HOT outside but the hotel was nice and cool, I love the old charm it has preserved. Yes the layout is weird, yes the floors are uneven, but that's part of Fells. We got a very last minute booking and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend to others.

*DO NOT BOOK*
Location is incredible. Don’t get me wrong, it’s right where you want to be. We checked in and all of the lights didn’t work. Front desk says they will replace bulbs.. Front desk staff came in twice, and couldn’t figure out how to make lighting in the room work. Said they would fix immediately. We left for six hours. Come back and none of them have been replaced and now the outlets don’t work. Six hours and they didn’t even come back to fix the issue. They come in at 12:34 AM and again none of the outlets work. “Not sure what’s going on, but you’re good right?” Attitude. I paid a lot of money to have no electricity in half of the room. Would not recommend. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Not the boutique hotel you think you’re getting. I would love a refund. Front desk staff have had to be in my room more than I have. I’m trying to charge my phone and 1 of 6 outlets work. Cmon.
Please call me if you own this hotel, yikes.

Not all it's cracked up to be. The location is great for getting to other fun things but sleeping there? Not so much. The weekend crowds are LOUD until past 3am. Like it sounds as if they're in the room and we were on the 3rd floor (screaming/bottles breaking/music blaring). The inside of the hotel is sad. The online photos make it looks quaint, but in-person there's open ceilings, broken bed posts. We had 3 people in the room, were only provided 2 bath towels, and one of those was stained brown and yellow. The shower had hot water for MAYBE 10 mins then went right to cold. I called ahead asking if they did early check in. The woman on the phone said they couldn't promise it but said she would put a note to housekeeping to clean it early if possible. Upon arrival I asked if they could check us in any earlier than the typical 4pm and attempted to mention my phone call with another staff member, but before I could even finish my sentence, the man interrupted me and just said "No." I totally understand if they couldn't accommodate an early check in, that was not a problem. I was just trying to ask as the woman over the phone had instructed, but the male staff member was rude and short with me. All of the female staff were absolutely wonderful, thankfully. If you value your sleep and feeling clean, I would choose somewhere else.

Worst hotel experience ever. The room photos on the website do not reflect what the rooms actually look like in any way shape or form. There was black duct tape on our windows, looked like someone threw a brick through it and they tried to conceal what happened. There were ants and other bugs in the bathroom, hair in the sink, stains on our walls. Our door wouldn't close and we left within 5 minutes of arriving. There were at least 3 other guests that were checking out at the same time, all seemed to be in the same situation. A shame as the location is great.

We walk past this hotel all the time in fells and decided to check it out for the night instead of driving home.. it was nice.. the long journey to find the room was a bit confusing but it was very authentic with its history and the Cafe was lovely.. some of the rooms can use an upgrade but it still had some charm.

I truly do not know where to begin. I love staying at historic hotels and was excited to try this one as it was close to the water and many shops and restaurants. But upon checking into my room, I realized that “historic” is a euphemism for not updated in many moons. Upon exiting the elevator after checking in at almost 2 AM, I realized several of the room doors on my floor were slightly left ajar. That was very concerning as the hallways were completely silent, and it looked like these rooms were just left open for some reason. When I entered my room, I set my luggage down and it began rolling away from me. The floors of my room were so warped, no object could be left on the desk because they rolled off of the desk and onto the floor. Not only were the floors, warped, but they were sticky and had several water stains, gum stains, and God-only-knows-what other kinds of stains. The bathroom had water stains on the ceiling, long Caucasian hair on the toilet seat, and disgustingly, dirty mildew grout on the pedestal sink, around the toilet, and on the faucet of the bath. I specifically got this room for the king-size bed and because it had a tub because I really wanted to take a bath. There was no way I was doing that with the condition that was in. The non-slip mat in the tub was discolored and looked like it had not ever been bleached or replaced. The floors of the bathroom looked as though they have never been swept nor mopped. The room did not even have an iron, which was unfortunate as I had many events to attend. There was no overhead lighting. The bed, bedding, and chair were all so dingy that I hesitated to lay out my clothes on them, nonetheless sleep on them. The luggage holder in the closet was Victorian-sized, way too small for even a carry-on luggage. Did I mention that the floors were very warped and extremely dirty? Too dirty to wear socks? The Pesta resistance is that this hotel is situated in a part of town where every single night hundreds 2000s of people are out partying. This is not inherently a problem because it was great to see young people out having a great time. But just around 2 AM, there’s always a lot of police sirens, police lights, and fights. I had front row tickets to several fights this weekend. The hotel website should indicate that the Fells point neighborhood is a little like Bourbon Street. No hair dryer or fridge.
