I have been a long time customer of Home Depot, this branch specifically, for many years now. My experience with the store this past week was truly disappointing and an example of the worst of customer service. I needed assistance for a plumbing project and I asked a total of 3 employees for help. The first ignored me. The second pointed me in the direction of the specific aisle and when I asked for additional help, she ignored me and walked away. The third told me that he didn't understand what I was looking for and walked away. I was so frustrated and disappointed and helpless. After this experience, I will not frequent this place as much and will only come here for items that won't require assistance of staff.

This is a huge store, & I am just referring to the regular store not the attached equipment rental area. I was here on a weekday morning, & I saw employees everywhere I looked. I never had a problem finding someone to ask for help from. I recommend this Home Depot for all your seasonal decorations & your home improvement, fixit and related maintenance items. There is also a nice, large and clean men's restroom. The Christmas decorations you can get here are awesome & more than enough to decorate both the inside & outside of your home in the spirit of the season. If you are looking for a good sale they are in every department of the store. There was clearance in the gardening department and winter hand warmers on sale at the entrance. Until next time be kind to each other. @yelpdc #homedepot #christmastime

I went in this Home Depot to pickup a hvac filter and saw this promotion as I walked in. I decided to purchase one however, when I scanned it at the self checkout the price came up 19.88. I went back to take a photo and check the sku which was different from product. An assistant manager went to check and said a smaller one might be on sale. I informed this was bait and switch but she just shrugged her shoulders with indifference.

I needed assistance for a pressure washer once and had to wait for about half an hour. I waited until an associate came and asked if I was alright. He understood what was going on and helped me out by letting me know he would get the machine and assist me to my car. He gave top notch advice and information on it that I never knew. Thanks Mike!

I went to this Home Depot to rent a wet vac and when I got home there was a piece of the hose missing so it didn’t fit. I had to drive all the way back to get the missing piece. This was such a hassle since I’m pregnant going back and forth.

This store is horrible in terms of customer service! Like, horrible horrible! I am a new homeowner and bought a new dryer which was delivered, however I had to pay someone to stack it over the existing washing machine because home depot has a policy not to stack if the washer and dryer isn't bought together. That was annoying but I just decided not to sweat it. Unfortunately, I also bought floors and steps to redo my downstairs. And this is where it begins to turn into the Twilight Zone! I called to confirm delivery and was told everything was scheduled and set. I spoke to the installers who were great by the way who wanted to confirm I had the materials. As I had expected and tried to avoid running into this problem, home depot had not secured my delivery and when they finally brought the materials 3 days later than when i was told they would arrive--after numerous calls where no one knew what I talking about-- the steps were not delivered with the floors. So when the installers came only the floors were installed. I called to inquire about the steps and was told, that my order was fulfilled and delivered. Tried to speak with someone from the flooring but the calls kept "dropping" before I could get anyone to answer. I drive up there and the woman in flooring kept telling me she did not know how to check on the order and that I needed to speak with someone who wasn't even there. After I went to customer service and spoke with a nice woman, I asked for the assistant manager who didn't acknowledge me when I was standing there and when I tried to tell him I had their installation manager on the phone to confirm that I had indeed not had my stair delivered he got nasty and raised his voice, continued to ignore me. I was floored and upset, but kept my cool, this behavior was completely unacceptable! He finally walks to the back of the store and lo and behold, my stairs were there with a big sign with my name on it. This man wheels the 15+ boxes and says I can take them with me. I can say he did help load all the boxes in my Civic, and his attitude was a little better, still no apology. Anyway, I really can't see myself spending another dime at this store. My experience has been abysmal with the flooring department especially, but the assistant manager was completely unprofessional and emotionally disregulated on this particular day. I've worked in customer service before, and would have never acted this way with a customer.

Okay, this is my go-to Home Depot - granted every Home Depot has horrible parking for some reason but this store has many entrances and exits and it has a huge outdoor area for plants, soil, and all garden needs which is the most important thing for me. Not only that but they have amazing staff available to help you out like Tony Sampson - he is amazing and if you have the opportunity to meet him and have him help you bring stuff to your vehicle, you are one lucky customer!!!

Very boring flower selection ... omg how many marigolds and begonias to people need ... it's like they are sponsoring the redskin colors ... if you gonna spend money on massive inventory, keep it interesting ... more not very hard to order unusual colors in annuals .... didn't by one single plant there , very disappointed... support your local nurseries they have a much better selection !!!

I'm convinced the only way Hell Depot stays in business is the general lack of hardware stores and folks inexperienced with projects. One of the worst businesses I've ever had the displeasure of shopping at for YEARS. The stores are disorganized, the staff are clueless, and usually they're out of stock of the one thing you came in for. I dread coming here more than I dread doing my taxes. I hope the CEO retires or leaves, because they obviously don't care about their customers needs or complaints AT ALL. If I could give Hell Depot negative 1 million stars I would. Oh, and this location is particularly awful. Bethesda is like a 1/10.

This is just a self serve warehouse. If you need help finding something, they don't really need your business so you are on your own. I was just on the phone looking for a washing machine and was transferred 5 to 7 times before I was disconnected, not a surprise based on past experience with the store. I will stick with Christopher's and Lowes.

I wish to sincerely thank Mr Aristotle at the Home Depot Aspen Hill Store in the Tile Department. Twice in the last two weeks he has expertly assisted me when I was selecting kitchen tile for my floor and then backsplash yesterday. He was patient, helpful and knowledgeable in calculating the number of tiles needed for the square footage. He made it a stress free process. He carefully advised us about the grout colors and they were perfect. If you need similar help for a kitchen or home remodel, you will not go wrong with his help. He was also very courteous and eager to check the computer for different styles and potential delivery dates. Home Depot....you did a good job hiring him! Thank you!

Bought a lamp online, delivered from Aspen Hill Home Depot. Lamp was defective so called central Home Depot number. They transferred the call to store manager from where the lamp had apparently shipped from. Store manager was dismissive and unhelpful. Purchased online and paid for shipping for convenience, requested refund of shipping fee and denied. Now will need to drive to store to return. Hope others have had a better experience, but with this store's leadership approach to customers' issues, would not recommend. Pretty disappointing.
