They couldn’t even give me a refund after I come and spend big money always there and the refund was only for $30 and just imagine if you have a digital receipt but not physical one they had me waiting just to say they can’t give me my $30 dollars back bad customer service and very bad communication for a sales person

It is good to see a well stocked and organized beauty store in the area. However, what was disappointing was lack of good good customer service and obviously disparity toward professional young adult.… cashier on the phone viewing a show or responding to text message, without excuse me… constantly talking w/ her co-worker and ignored my present at register.… observed her giving Ethiopian customer a free bag however told me that must pay .5 cents.… imagine if no Black American came to shop at this store, what would happen.Mgmt, encourage you to correct this type of customer service.BTW, no following around customers in the store, this is harassement and could cost you new/returning customers!

A Family own business with friendly staff and a clean well stocked store. Manager went above and beyond for a product I asked about. Highly recommended.

I don’t know if I should start with the pricing or the fact that these people will follow you around the store down every aisle..“Ma’am, I came in here because I need to get my hair done, I am a paying customer I don’t need to steal anything from you. Your actions are about to make you lose money”it’s very rude and uncomfortable for someone to watch you shop overly priced items because they think you’re going to steal and then give you an attitude // have terrible customer service when it’s time to check out.

I visited the store today with my boyfriend, i live in the area, and have been to this beauty supply more than once.Today however was a very uncomfortable, unpleasant, and dehumanizing experience. I am black, and so is my boyfriend. From the moment we stepped into the store all of the workers (bc that’s what they are!) watched us!i mean seriously it was something straight out of a horror movie and they kept asking us “are you done, can we help you? like no! i don’t need help, i need to not be watched while i shop!A group of Ethiopian and other black women, entered the store and no one followed them, or spoke to them, which made me even more mad.I do believe my boyfriend and i were, unfortunately racially profiled. I spent $89 dollars in the store, but i was in the store for less than 20 mins and actually wanted to leave without getting anything, my boyfriend however insisted we get our things, and this will be our last time going to this store, we were followed, watched and harassed by the Ethiopian workers in the store, then as we were checking out a spanish woman im guessing the store manager asked the lady checking me out “ask her if she wants to sign up for rewards” she responded “i did she said no” yes, bc i knew i wasn’t returning! weird. if i could give zero stars i would, and will never return here ever again.

I tried not to go to this store beacause I KNEW thag this would be my experience. Unfortunately the other hair store in the area with Black hair products didn't have a large enough selection to carry the products I needed, but I disgress.So the brown skinned ladies moved their conversation all around the store while I shopped. Everywhere I went they were. I'm Black and I wasn't the only person in the store either. I hate that I spent over $70 in that store. Then she asked me could she give me a bag....no thank you. I told her you can't give me anything except my receipt, and truthfully, I paid for that too.She and her coworker could have given me the gift of dignity and respect when I entered. That would have been more valued and appreciated than a 5 cent plastic bag.This is why I need to continue to purchase online...to avoid these dehumanizing and demoralizing experiences.- Tales of a Dark-skinned Black Girl

Asked if they had a product over the phone they said yes. I came into the store to pick up said product, the lady told me they didn't have it and I referred to the phone call I had earlier and she said "well you can leave". Sums up my experience.

I went to this store today and i was planning on purchasing some items . But every corner i turned the people who work there were looking at me and following me around and everytime I turned to them the acted like they were viewing a product . I ended up putting the items back on the shelf because i didn’t like being followed. Then at checkout when the other person i was with was purchasing their items the owners tossed them on the counter like it was nothing . If your constantly following your customers around You don’t need to own a store !!

Staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. Will not be going back. I got there 10 minutes before their closing time and staff was extremely rude , stating I had to leave as they needed to park up and go home , and with so much bad attitude. Customer service is zero.

I chose to visit this location because of a review trashing the store. I had to see it for myself. Well, let's say that person wasn't honest. The store was clean, the service was welcoming, and they had a variety of products at reasonable prices. The only con is the customer service associate didn't appear knowledgeable about hair care products, but the benefit is that she wasn't pushing me to purchase additional unnecessary products. Customer to customer, know what you are going in to buy.

This is not a review for GiGi's but it's a review for the salon in the back of GiGi's. Marie's hair services are great but the customer service is even better she makes you feel like you are at home! Marie from day 1 has treated my hair as if it was her own hair since a kid I've been tender headed but she makes every style a breeze.

I recently got a job where I have to have conservatively/naturally colored hair and I rock vibrantly dyed colored hair. My options were wig or head wrap (or re-dying which I was not interested in). Having never worn either I stopped by Gigis. I was very transparent of my situation and got amazing customer service. I was informed of the different types of wigs, the prices of each (there was a sale going on), and I was taught how to put it on. I felt really comfortable in what could have been a very uncomfortable transaction. I wish I got the associated name because she was outstanding.
