Negative stars. Walking around stores in downtown Annapolis we stopped by Woodcraft Artisans. We were looking inside the store and picked up a piece that accidentally slid off my hands. I came forward and was honest to admit the accident. The cashier was very rude to quickly say “you have to pay for it”, it’s only a $35 piece it’s not cost but the principle of customer service that this place don’t even have. I will never go back!

On Annapolis Main Street, Woodcraft Artisans is an amazing store with all kinds of wood treasures. There are sailboats, wooden animals, games, candle holders, and amazing laser etched maps that show the contours of the land. Also, there are bracelets, earrings, and necklaces that are all hand-crafted. You can even find sweaters to keep you warm for this winter. Not made of wood, is a collection of tin can vehicles, ceramic sculptures, and other various bountyThe shopkeeper, Crystal, is an artist herself and described her driftwood art that she is currently creating. Truly easy to have a conversation, Crystal and I also chatted about music for thirty minutes.I bought a compass in a wooden box for my bourbon bar (in case I get lost) but I will be back to get a laser etched map.Definitely stop in to browse at Woodcraft Artisans.

I visited Woodcraft Artisans and really like the items for sale inside. They have a large assortment of wooden maps from the local area and around the country. They don't just sell wood items the have many metal items like compasses and also sell womens clothing. A really cool store and great place to purchase that memorable item for someone.. or yourself of course!

Great store with alot of unique wood artwork from local artists. You can't find this stuff anywhere else. They also have a website were you can shop from.

I ordered a glorious Chesapeake Bay map for my husband for our anniversary--and Peter delivered it to our door!!! I couldn't believe it, it was so fantastic! Sorry about the difficult time finding our house, Peter! Their service is unparalleled. Grateful to be spending money at a local(ish) store and keeping them in business. Thank you again, it is so beautiful!

A few weeks ago we went to Annapolis for a VERY late 25th wedding anniversary. We stopped in Woodcraft Artisans. We kept Crystal there well past time of closing because I AM SO INDECISIVE! At any rate, she was amazing and so helpful and so was the business. They didn’t have exactly what we wanted, but she ordered it for us. I even changed the order as I was walking out the door. We were out of town this weekend, but I got a PM that our order was delivered. Can’t say enough about the personal touch this company provided...other than we discovered they have an establishment in St. Michaels!!
