A visit was made there because we were looking for unique, contemporary hardware for our newly purchased doors.Sophie was patient with scattered inquiries regarding door pulls, shower heads, and hammered sinks. A quote was provided for our wish list. Once we stain the doors, we'll submit an order for our fabulous choices.

I came in with a problem with an antique door knob with a lot of sentimental value - I came away with a temporary fix and excellent guidance on how to do a permanent fix. In the days of big box stores where no one knows anything, it's always nice to find a place where they know what they're talking about.

I purchased an EXPENSIVE out door shower from Sonoma Forge. Nice unit but my so broke the hose going to the handheld spay handle. I ordered a replacement from Sonoma. The replacement was of a much lower quality and the wrong color. I returned it and was told that the part I needed was no longer available. I asked if they would tell me the name of the folks making the hose (I doubted they made the hoses) or where I could get it repaired. They were less than helpful, bordering on rude. It was like I was nuisance.I suggest you question your purchase from Sonoma Forge as you to may find yourself in need of the correct replacement part. If so you can't depend on these folks.

This is a great place to find door hardware. If you are looking for quality and style, skip the big chain stores. Walter Works has a great selection, well displayed and the customer service is top-notch. The prices are also extremely reasonable. I will definitely be back when I'm working on my next remodel!

This is an excellent hardware store featuring the most elegant door and cabinet hardware as well as bath fixtures etc. I love this store because of their service. I recently purchased a cabinet to hold my craft supplies, I wanted to upgrade the five knobs. They went above and beyond to help me find what I wanted and made numerous suggestions with no pressure. Walter Works Hardware is an example of why retail will never completely leave. I could never have come up with the solution to odd sized hardware or the practical and stylish suggestions they made.
