Just wanted to give a quick shout out to the staff today, I overheard one employee say they were quite understaffed but every employee in there did an AMAZING job of giving any needed assistance as well as just being super positive and friendly !! I’ve always loved this Ulta location

I went to Mickey P to refresh my pink hair AND THEY DID AMAZING! I love the color and the new cut I got Mickey is so talented and amazing 10/10 I'm going back :)

The two girls working the counter on Thursday evening were incredibly rude. I attempted to return a sunscreen that I had bought a few minutes prior and they claimed that they couldn’t do it without a receipt. Mickey asked the manager for me and the manager was able to pull up a receipt and facilitate an exchange. This is apparently store policy. As I exchanged the products, I was met with snarky looks and they laughed at me. They have worked there for a while, I know because I recognize them. I’d be surprised if they didn’t know that management could pull up past receipts. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere and would encourage management to retrain them on basic customer service skills. No surprise that they work the front desk at ulta, they didn’t seem very bright. Mickey however was incredibly well versed in product and sold my friend and I on the Chanel rouge line. 3 stars for her.

Had a salon appointment with Mickey P. yesterday to get my hair redyed and cut and they did an amazing job! Absolutely love my color and cut. Just what I wanted! They were super nice and friendly and made me feel comfortable.
Can't wait for my next appointment with them!

I came in roughly four days before my wedding looking for a long lasting lip stain. I had zero idea what I was looking for and decided to procrastinate this task to the very last minute. I met Mickey who walked me around the store and showed me all of the options. She was absolutely so thorough in helping me pick out a product, color and making sure I was comfortable with what I was doing. I am so impressed with Mickey's level of knowledge and friendly personality. I have not needed any new makeup yet, but when I do I will speficially go back and seek out Mickey's advice.

We all know how awesome Ulta products and rewards are, but to also have such amazing customer service IN the store, that’s HUGE! The Annapolis store has the best staff. I know I can trust them to make thoughtful recommendations that are genuine and right for me. I’ve never had a bad experience and even the managers have made complex returns a breeze. Honestly at 40 I finally feel like I found a company and brick and mortar store I can trust in my beauty journey!

Go see Jordan! After a recent bad experience with a stylist, i went onsite to see if Ulta had a stylist that knew how to cut curly hair. Jordan's name came up and i took another chance and scheduled. I was nervous because most would look at my very thick curly hair and pass me on as they had no idea how to cut it..and obviously they didn't. I was very nervous though when i showed up but i had to let go and trust. Well I am so happy I did! Jordan listened to what I was looking for, and explained in detail what she was doing as she corrected my cut. My nerves settled immediately!! She is very sweet and knowledgeable about curly hair and i could not recommend her enough!! I asked for recommendations on products I should give a try as there have been many and she walked me around to some I hadn't thought about. Schedule your next appt with Jordan she will not disappoint! Wonderful experience and happy to have a new stylist!

First and foremost I want to express that my concern was promptly and appropriately handled by the manager of the store, however I think it’s necessary to share that my experience at the salon was not ideal.
I went in for a partial highlight. I wanted my blonde brought up to my roots. My stylist showed up right on time and had to take a little bit of time to get set up - not a big deal, I cleared my day for this.
We looked at photos and agreed on the plan.
I have a lot of hair and my stylist stated that she was running behind during the foils and had to call her next appointment to let her know. Towards the end of the foils, she asked me if I was getting a haircut too or just color, because she “didn’t even really look at the sheet”. Fortunately it was just color.
We rinsed it out and got back to the chair and I told her it wasn’t a big deal if she didn’t get it completely dry, as I understand she was running behind and I was just going home anyway. So she dried the front and I paid and left.
When I got home and the rest of my hair dried I was devastated. I had just spent over 3 hours in the salon to come home looking like my roots were grown out by a month. I called and the manager offered me a resolution that I thought was fair.
But as a mom of two young kids, my “me” time is very limited and very valuable to me. So the fact I wasted the day on this hairstyle and now have to get it fixed elsewhere is especially draining to me.

Go see Jordan at the Salon for all your hair needs! I cannot recommend them enough. I’ve been getting my hair done by Jordan since 2022 and they always do a great job. I definitely recommend seeing them if you’re interested in vivid colors but they’re also great with natural coloring, blonding, fun cuts, etc (I recommend checking out their instagram page! @jordanamberhair) Jordan always makes me feel comfortable in their chair and does a thorough consultation before we start. They walk me through each step of the process and explain everything along the way. They go above and beyond to make sure that I am happy with the end result of my hair every time! The attached photo is from my last appointment a few weeks ago

Went in and spent about 300.00 on shampoos and dermalogica stuff. It was 8 items. I got up to register and the cashier informed me that they were out of plastic bags, which is kind of an inconvenience considering I had a lot I had to carry. She tried to sell me a five dollar bag when I would’ve just preferred of course to pay $.10 for a few plastic bags. I passed on the 5.00 bag. Anyways, cashier Zoe was pretty rude throughout the whole interaction. Like almost inconvenienced when I had to stand there and load up my items with no bag.

I can not say enough about this place!!! So I actually live closer to another Ulta, but I will drive a little bit longer to come to this location. They always have what I'm looking for, and if not they offer to order it for me. My biggest amount of gratefulness tho, goes to both Jarrett and Stephanie who spend a LONG time (two days) helping me pick out my shade of foundation!!! I have looking for the "perfect" match for years!!!! And they sat down with me and spent so much time finding THE match. It was Clinique!!! Some place I would have never looked! I've always loved this store, but this was the icing on the cake!!! And they were like, see you next time, because they know I will be back! They are always friendly, neat, pretty accurate when it come to stock, just all around a great Ulta! Thank you guys for being good at what you do!!!P.S. what color have I been wearing all these years then?? Lol I was so off!!!
