If I could give negative stars, I would. Asked if they would repair a broken clasp on a watch strap (assuming that this is something a jeweler would do). They agreed to take my watch, and sent it out to be repaired. I waited for 8 weeks and had to call over and over, asking for updates. After 3 weeks I learned the watch was just sitting around at the manufacturer. I asked for it to be returned to me and got it back 5 weeks later not repaired. To add insult to injury, I had to pay 15 dollars for the shipping. I paid for Tilghman to waste my time. I'll add that I went here on the recommendation of family members in Annapolis who had bought pieces here. None of us will be patronizing this establishment in the future. Does the Better Business Bureau know about this?

I don't go anywhere else. Mr. Tilghman is a gem. He has fixed and refitted many family heirlooms that I would never trust a chain to touch. I even took a silver fork that I mangled in my sink disposal, and it looked brand new when he returned it. Lovely jewelry and classic gifts.

Tilghman Company Jewelers is the best! Bought my wife's wedding and engagement ring there in 1997/1998 and they worked with me on everything -- gem quality, setting, ring. Still had the records on file when we needed to get a repair in 2018! Highly recommend for any jewelry needs but particularly wedding/engagement rings.

Couldn't have asked for less. Came into the store for a refitting, appraisal, and reinforcement of the prongs on an engagement ring. Mr. Tilghman assured me that the work would be done in four weeks.

This is a classic jewelry store - an episode of Mad Men could have been filmed here. They carry classic jewelry that won't go out of style. It's also of great quality so you know it will last. The service is helpful without being pushy. We don't live nearby but when my husband and I are in Annapolis, we stop by to see if anything catches our eye. I highly recommend this store.

Tilghman's helped my bride pick.out her miniature 52 years ago. Every return visit for repair and assistance is like we're family. They have also helped me through 3 stone replacements in my own ring. Old time excellence and customer care.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Tilghman Company. My fiancé and I went in last summer with a family heirloom ring that was nearly twice my finger size and would need custom changes to be able to fit. I went in knowing very little about engagement rings and what I wanted to do, and feeling slightly nervous about making changes to a ring with so much sentimental value. Leslie Tilghman sat down with us and patiently walked us through all our options and possibilities. Within a matter of minutes, it was clear how knowledgeable she was and how much she cared about helping us figure out the best option. Throughout the process, never once did she put pressure on us to make a rushed decision. I will never forget the day I went in to pick up my finished engagement ring and seeing how it turned out. It is absolutely gorgeous!!! More importantly, the changes to the ring preserved the sentimental aspects of it while suiting my personality and style perfectly, which to me is proof of how great Leslie is at what she does. I am constantly admiring my ring and get compliments on it all the time!! My fiancé and I were so pleased with our experience that we went back in to have our wedding bands done, and I will certainly be returning with any other jewelry work I need done in the future. Overall, Leslie and the rest of the staff were such a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them!!!

Go meet Leslie! She defines expertise and traditional small business. Guys, for the under informed (myself), she helped guide and educate me to making great decisions for an engagement ring, and personal band. Gals, she helps comfort and decrease anxiety about making ring selection. My fiance' and I needed a custom ring made, and she walked us through the process politely, and produced a treasured piece. Browse the major stores at the shopping centers, but when it comes to making the decision, don't go anywhere else!

I've been going to TIlgman Company for over 30 years. I would not buy jewelry anywhere else nor will I take my jewelry to be repaired anywhere else. I have yet to be disappointed. Both my sons both engagement rings for their wives and the diamonds were excellent. They will give you a lesson on what to look for in a diamond before you buy anything. Great store, old fashioned service every time.

Such a great place to do business. I went in to tilghman and co to purchase and design an engagement ring. Leslie and I sat down and chatted over the phone on a number of occasions to get the ring just right, she is amazing and completely down to earth. She was never pushy at any time and is very straight forward and is not afraid to speak her mind oth good and bad about your idea, something that I found extremely helpful. The turn around on any work you need done is impressive and while their selection is not up to some of the other stores and the prices are probably a bit higher, when it comes down to it you are not just paying for the product but the knowledge and expertise two things i did not find anywhere else and most likely they can probably order or design just about anything you would find elsewhere. I am actually a second generation client of the Tilghman's as my parents purchased their rings from Mr. Tilghman back in the 70's and have come back continuously over the years as well. I will be coming back again and again and I know my fiancee will be coming here often as well.
