The 6th floor rocks with Dr. Snow for eyes, McNelly Optical for glasses and Primary Care Dr. Williams! They are all very caring, friendly and professional!

It was a terrible experience. Tried to tell them what help i needed; I might as well have talked to a brick wall. They did not care. I walked out trembling and feeling utterly humiliated.

We had to take our daughter to the pediatric ER late at night. The staff was doing everything they could as it was so crowded. Most chairs were full and no beds available. All of them were helpful and kind to us. Always asking if we needed anything, offering what they could. Grateful for them all.

Was in the hospital 5 days. A few of the nurses were good. The bulk of the staff were just plain no good evil. Could not do thier job. Had no idea that you had rights or could refuse thier care. It was the worst care you could think of. This was my first visit there. God willing my last.

Absolutely horrible. On the phone for a hour and a half. No one picked it up and I heard they just leave the phone off in the afternoon weather or not thats new I don't know. Terrible way for a medical place to treat people like that..

There isn’t anyone that can answer the phone and help you. The healthcare system has gone to hell.

Stacy is a horrible nurse. Not just for me but other patients. She has no bedside care. Seems she just wants to go home and not take care of patients. As a medical professional myself it it is a very bad look on the profession. I think she needs re education or retirement. She can not treat patients like that.

Front desk "staff" here act more like organized thugs and bullies! Confused, elderly patients were separated from their caregivers! Visitors were sent outside first due to not enough space for patients and then that quickly turned into a "Covid protocol" none of these people, all the way down to the hospital security are kind or compassionate; clearly they all hate their jobs and don't need to be working in this industry!

Be careful of this place. If they see you have good insurance they'll schedule unnecessary tests, expensive tests, in order to rack up your bill. Same way a crooked mechanic gives you a list of things wrong with your car in order to make you pay 2 grand for a problem that should've cost 100 bucks. I went in with small chest pains. Was honestly expecting some pills to get and they'd send me home. That's exactly what they did, except it took them three days to do it. Kept me there saying they needed to 'monitor' my heart, when honestly I felt good to go after one night. Insurance bill comes in, turns out staying there was $500 a night. Why? Cuz I had good insurance. Racked the bill up as high as 10 G's and I'm expected to pay 3 out of pocket. Squeeze the sponge out of the insurance is their motto

Worse hospital experience that I’ve ever had. A few of the nurses and techs were okay. A nurse named Danette was very kind and professional towards me. There was also a younger nurse who wore a Seton school jacket who was very kind. Also a tech named Amber who was very jovial and helpful. Dr. Gupta was also very kind and listened attentively to my needs.I’ve never seen a hospital so disorganized in my life and many of the staff are very unprofessional. First the dietary staff couldn’t seem to get anything right. I don’t understand how you can get upset with a patient because you’re constantly not doing your job correctly.I provided my order and somehow everything delivered was still wrong. Dietary staff couldn’t solve common customer service complaints without raising their voice and using intimidating body language. That classless behavior has no place in a medical care setting. Then some of the nursing staff seems to have a problem with you asking questions about what you’re being given or the procedure you’re being scheduled for. It’s as if they want you to just take what’s being given without any questions. Yes, I would like to know what the medicines that I’m being given are for and what their side effects are. I would also like to know why a certain test was prescribed and what the outcome is. Thank goodness I have the app or I wouldn’t have known anything about the results to my test. The bathroom had a walker in it that had feces over it. I had to ask the nurse Serge to remove it, who seemed perplexed on why I would want it removed. It’s nasty!!!Then one nurse Kelley thought that despite me saying no to a test, that she was still going to make me take the test. Thankfully I’m educated enough to know that you can’t make me do anything if I refuse it and that’s my right as a patient. I’m highly allergic to the EKG tips which form rashes and burns on my body. She acted like she had an attitude because I refused it. She was very passive aggressive towards me and I couldn’t wait to be from under her care. It took the patient advocate a whole day to get to me and I felt she really didn’t do anything. The adult ER in my opinion was much nicer and worked quickly to take care of me but once I was admitted to the 5th floor, the care declined. I highly suggest going to Baltimore Washington in Glen Burnie or even the hospital in Columbia. I’m truly shocked at how horrible my hospital experience was in Annapolis. I expected a higher level of care and was truly disappointed in the facilities and the staff overall. I’m not surprised at how bad some of these reviews are. The adult ER is great but you don’t want to get admitted here.

If you’re delivering here, KNOW YOUR BIRTH RIGHTS!!!!!!! I delivered our first child here (unscheduled but closest hospital to my home) in 2021 and the nurses attempted to lie to us continuously. Probably thought because we’re young (27&24) we were ignorant, WRONG!1. The nurse told us my husband couldn’t record the birth of our child because it was against hospital policy.2nd lie was “There’s no point in delaying cord clamping” .3rd Lie “By denying eye ointment your newborn will go blind”4th Lie “You’re not giving your child a fighting chance by denying all vaccines”Our baby is healthy and have better vision than me!Thankfully we were very knowledgeable due to our midwife, doula and research! So in the end we got our way but at the expensive of my blood pressure being high which I believe was from me cursing their butts out.

Gave birth here in 2018 and 2021. Both times I felt rushed and pressured into treatments I didn’t want. My questions were dismissed. Rushed into a c-section. Scolded by the doctor when I was asking questions during the c-section as if she was annoyed by me asking what was happening. The most egregious however was when they “forgot” to bring my daughter back to my room after a routine cardiac screening. I was told by the nurse to “get some sleep” and I tried staying awake for the return of my daughter, I really did but I dozed off thinking I would awaken to my daughters’ return within a few minutes. I woke 3 hours later to an empty room. I asked my husband where our daughter was and he was sleep when the nurse came to get her for the screening so he had no clue. I called the nurse, frantic, and all she could do was apologize. The charge nurse (Kathy Wilson???) try to explain what happened but she was a nasty piece of work and lacked bedside manner and treated us without dignity or respect. So you basically have all these covid restrictions, we’re stuck in our rooms, masked up, and limited visitors however you had my NEW baby God knows where for three hours with limited IMMUNITY? Maternity nurses shouldn’t be so absent minded. And all I got was “sorry”? I was told she was at the nurses station but for what it’s worth, I’ve never seen a newborn just hanging out at the nurses station not even as far back as 2018 when I delivered our first child. I felt utterly disrespected and this was the most anxiety inducing experience of my entire life. Yes, I’m in therapy for it. I don’t trust anyone with her and don’t want her out of my sight. Even more so than what the average new mom goes through, the anxiety is crippling. She could’ve been in a broom closet for all I know. I will never deliver here again and I do not recommend. Especially for women of color!

I had melanoma removed here and they took GREAT care of me. So attentive and I felt they really cared. Explained everything to me, and my mom, they gave great care and detail as to what was going to happen. I will definitely come here again for any future procedures

I gave birth to my child there in 2020 my husband was also there with in my delivery room, they ask was he the father my husband said yes. And he gave them his ID to be added on the birth certificate when we receive the birth certificate he wasn't on there.
