The produce is all rotten. I came in to grab a few bananas for the kids and ALL of them already have brown spots. The rest of the produce is also not the greatest. Every time I come in this store I leave disappointed

This is not a pleasant place to shop. No hand baskets for a few items (for many months/year?). When manager/staff are asked about it, they either say "Corporate" or "customers (like me?) steal them." Really? Taking a full-sized cart to self checkout (for just a few items), you get told by staff "move your cart, its blocking the way." Narrow isles, poor selection, and rude staff. Bye bye.

After paying at the self check-out area, I was chased on parking lot by a Safeway staff (Jean?) front end manager who accused me of not paying. for my cherries. I showed her the receipt but she was insisting that i get out of my car and pay . But in the store I asked for her help and she said that its my app fault and walked away .This is very upsetting.. This was not the first time that received this type of treatment at the Housley Road Safeway, and same employee. I hope that something will be done, and customers would not be treated as a criminals.

If i could go with 0 stars i would!! The drive up and go department is the worst most unorganized place I ever worked at. They legit dont give breaks to their employees. You are asked to contact a manager who is working back there but get in trouble if you dont speak directly to Talia who is disregarding and blatantly lazy and rude to anything going on. Nobody knows what they are doing. Not even the store assistant manager. You’re just slaving and getting orders and god forbid you request off months ahead its never noticed. Managers drink on the job. Workers smell like straight cigarettes. Nobody helps out. They wont even give you corporates number if you asked for it. I was told to go find it. Wouldnt dare work here. the pay isnt even worth it especially with no breaks. Love to see a job breaking an actual law like they are untouchable!

I recently moved to this area from Gambrills, MD. This Annapolis location has disappointed me every time I come. Barely any LIVE checkout lanes opens, seafood dept closed up by 5PM one evening, fruit section (bananas specifically) looks like something in a third world country. I will drive back to my old Gambrills location to get better quality there.

This is not the first time, but I arrived at 9:55 to find the door closed because they want it to leave exactly at 10. I guess opening hours don't really matter if they manager is permitted to randomly close earlier than the post time. In an attitude about it is not good either.

When grocery prices are inflated, it’s incredibly frustrating to get home thinking you were going to save money and cook in, but only to find out that the meat you purchased was absolutely rancid. I am not sure what is going on at this Safeway’s meat department, but this is now the third time in two months that it’s happened to me. Definitely not purchasing meat here anymore.

Safeway is a wonderful place to shop . All the employees are very helpful and friendly . A fabulous place to shop than any other grocery store this safe has great customer service
