firstly, for Natalie 5 stars. she assisted with my passport photo today. I appreciated her friendly and engaging personality and sticktoitiveness (when the computer acted up) during this visit.unfortunately, 5 stars would totally skew the at-a-glance rating for this location.as there was no one in the photo area or anywhere else in the store...I had to get in line to ask the one cashier to call someone for assistance (even though she looked at me several times waiting in the photography department). this is not the first time I've had to get in the queue just to get help.I've never seen the place not a mess...and today was no exception. there were piles of boxes in the photo area and in the walkways carts and a rolling shelf (with products to be returned to stock?). and oh yes, valentine balloons with weighted ribbons touching the floor, cluttering up one aisle (one woman tripped as the ribbon caught her foot). understaffed/poor management? I overheard one employee called out today (from the sounds of the conversation, it's a trend). also overheard ppl don't know what has been done by whom or needs doing/ordering. a simple task board would make that clear.

I visit this store almost daily because it's closest to my home. This is not my first negative review on this Walgreens and if changes aren't made it won't be my last. There have been some new employees coming and going since Covid in all departments in the store (sign of the times). This store keeps hiring young, unprofessional people that I would have never hired if I was hiring supervisor. These people have zero customer service skills and would be better off working in the back taking out the trash. Yesterday I found myself in need of a couple things so I decided to stop at Walgreens. The store wasn't very busy, so I grabbed what I needed and headed for the checkout line. I saw what I thought was an employee restocking the soda fridge upfront. She was a young African American girl with a Walgreens shirt and jacket on, with her head buried inside the fridge. So I passed her and got in line. While waiting I then heard a female voice behind me saying "Well I was in f#%$@?& line. I turned around and it was the black employee that was in the fridge a moment ago. Surprised by her language I apologized and explained myself and told her to go ahead of me. In a very nasty way she says no no go on you are already there. I insisted she go first but she refused. So I went about my business and she continued to say mean, hateful, crude, and nasty things under her breath but loud enough for me to hear. I finally had enough and turned around again and said that I bet her supervisor wouldn't like that she has on Walgreens clothes and representing the store with her mouth and attitude. She rolls her eyes and says she wasn't even talking to me. I thought best of it and decided to not continue to engage this trashy mouth and attitude and paid for my items and left. I called Bill, the store manager and reported the person to him. He apologized and said he would handle it. You'd think that would be the end but no. I have called Bill multiple times for similar issues and he always responds with an apology and how he will take care of it. But things aren't getting better they're getting worse. A little advice for Bill.....stop going to DC and Baltimore to hire street trash. I've just about reached my breaking point with this store, and the treatment I receive when spending my hard earned money in there. The employees that have been there forever are awesome (ie: Gary and Kimberly), and a couple others I just don't know their names. They are awesome. They are older with common sense and decency that these young black girls have no concept of. Get with it Walgreens on Taylor Avenue in Annapolis, or you are going to lose a valuable customer.

I’ve never had a better experience at a pharmacy than here. The staff are so helpful and you can actually get through when you call. I couldn’t recommend this pharmacy more.

I have nothing but problems with this pharmacy. The girls that work the counter are the rudest people I have ever dealt with. They aren’t only rude in person but when I Finally get through on the phone they are very rude and disrespectful. I’m taking my business elsewhere.

Walgreens pharmacy has some of the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with. Also extremely slow. Filled my prescription incorrectly. I verified with doctor he sent it correctly. I’ve been trying to call and no answer. Going elsewhere.

Rite Aid was better in every way. So sorry Walgreens took it over.

The pharmacy hours are now Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:30 pm which means that people who work typical business hours or who work out of town or who can't get to the pharmacy on their lunch break, can no longer use this pharmacy. AND... They just now announced that they will take a "Meal Break" for a half hour at lunch time. We now need to move all of my family's prescriptions to a pharmacy with hours that accommodates working folks. Times must be tough for Walgreens.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY! They received my prescription, but their backlog caused them to put me into a queue so it wasn’t ready when I went to pick it up. They told me they needed 20m to fill it so I went to run another errand to kill time. When I returned, I waited in the line only for them to tell me that they did something incorrect in their computer system and it locked my records on them. I had to wait an hour or more for it to “hopefully reset” so they could fill the prescription. I had the Dr. send the prescription to another pharmacy who told me that it was “in process” at Walgreens so my insurance won’t cover the medication, I have to go back to the Walgreens to get it there. This wasted so much time and I paid for the prescription out of pocket to just be able to go home with it. I would suggest that EVERYONE go somewhere else.

Pulling all of my family's prescriptions after three incidents in two weeks of receiving only a portion of my prescription. On each occasion there was no word from the pharmacy as to why I received a partial order. I think they were hoping I wouldn't catch it each time. I called in a refill for my blood pressure med. Last time it was filled was May, I got 180 pills. I take three a day. This would be a two month supply. Running low, I refilled the script (had a refill coming) Picked up order. When I got home, saw it was for 90 pills. One month's worth. No explanation. Called, and explained them I am leaving for 6 weeks and need the full order of 180. They said they only refill for 90. I explained and explained that last time it was for 180. I need the same again. I am going away and need to bring at least 126 pills with me. I might as well been explaining this to my pet. So afterall that, she called me back and said she has the 90 waiting. But that they don't have enough to fill the 190. And that I (meaning me) will "have to call around other Walgreens to see if they have enough." This is for the med Cardizem. A really, really common med. But it gets better... the second med in the order was a script written for 30 tables. They filled 15 saying that my insurance will only pay for 15. I have had the same insurance for years and each time I get a refill for 30 tablets. Incident number three was two weeks ago, when I went to pick up a script for 36 of a different med prescribed by my doctor. When I got home, I found they had filled it for 28. Again, no word...they took a gamble that I might not catch it.All this to say is that one of two things is happening here: Either there is some squirreling away of meds by pharmacy personnel, especially the controlled ones. A doc is writing for a certain amount, and they are not dispensing the full amount, but only a partial order. Luckily I've caught it each time. An elderly person might not.. OR, they have been busted for mis-dispensing controlled meds and have some directions from above as to how to reduce the number of controlled meds they are dispensing. Either way, I'm talking to both the Maryland Board of Pharmacy.

I'm not talking about their friendly pharmacy or vast selection of pharmacy related products....Annapolitan winos know...this is the best place to get good deals on wine. That's right adult libations are sold here....go figure, but its true. Head to the back and say hi to Ralph.

Placed a photo order online, called to make sure it was ready and when I came to pick it up it was scratched and ruined. I have now been standing here for an HOUR waiting for it to be reprinted. Save yourself the hassle. Avoid this location and Walgreens in general. Hiring standards are on the floor. Bottom of the barrel.

I'm reviewing the liquor store part. I live nearby and didn't know they're liquor store was so stocked.
