Very pleasant staff. An X-ray technician was on hand, which was a huge relief.I would use this Urgent Care facility again.

I usually don't go out of my way to write negative reviews (because everyone has bad days), but I feel I have a responsibility to write this one. I went to this urgent care center on the evening of 3/13 because I received faint positive results from a few at home pregnancy tests, and assumed I was miscarrying. The admin staff I encountered were nice and professional. I knew that the center wouldn't have the appropriate equipment needed to see anything, but I wanted to get a general checkup (vitals) because I figured my body was going through a lot, and I also wanted advice from a healthcare professional. I was seen by PA Shannon Siegel. She told me their pregnancy test was negative. Not a surprise for a few reasons. I told her I figured I was having a chemical pregnancy anyway, but that I was concerned about the possibility of an ectopic and she responded "or you could've just had false positives." "Four on four different days?" I said, to which she responded "yeah well it's negative here, so." That was concerning because it's basic knowledge that true false pos preg tests are rare, and it's much more likely that it's either too early for some tests to detect or you're having a chemical pregnancy. THAT is what you advise a patient. She did tell me to go to the ER if my symptoms worsened, but that she wasn't concerned of any ectopic preg or anything like that. I also mentioned I thought I previously saw tissue in my urine, and she looked me dead in my face and said "I've never heard of tissue in urine" and shrugged it off. Never "hearing" of that as a healthcare professional is actually unacceptable and concerning. I didn't express this because I believe in letting professionals do their jobs, but it was clear to me that she didn't know what she was talking about. So, I contacted an ED MD, who advised me based on the same symptoms I listed at the urgent care center, to go to an ER within the next few days. (She also readily listed possible tissue in urine causes.) Anyway, I went to the ER 3/18 morning and, of course, I am in fact pregnant and am currently required to get my blood drawn every other day due to the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy. If I didn't know enough to seek a second opinion, this situation could've turned out poorly for my health. The PA's demeanor was pretty condescending and dismissive, which usually wouldn't bother me, but given the poor medical advice she was giving in this case, it was particularly inappropriate. Patients go to healthcare providers afraid and confused, for knowledge based treatment and trustworthy advice, and the care I received really missed the mark. No professional can know everything, but basic knowledge and erring on the side of caution when you don't know, can actually save a patient's life.

Edited experience. In the past this has been my go to clinic. As a immune compromised patient they used to listen to my concerns and help. That changed on my last visit. Provider explained my condition was not sever enough to treat and I would need to wait. SO having approximately 250 T cells battling two back to back viral infections left me weak and depleted. The choice to not treat lead exactly where I told her it would. To the ER. Sinus, throat and lung infection. Thanks for billing me $206,refusing to treat and sending me to the ER 5 days later.

Decent care. Place was not busy at all. Only two others to be seen but it took well over an hour to be placed in a room and to gain a simple xray and quick exam of the injury. Seemed odd to have that long of a wait when they had so few people to see that day.

Everyone was genuine, helpful and kind. This is important when you don’t feel well and are looking for answers. From the check-in staff to the triage nurse to the doctor that came in to explain her thoughts. They were awesome and I am so grateful!
