I'm poor, but you, if your poor, will be poorer, if you think this is affordable. I almost got caught up in it. I think there is a way they can be helpful, they're not bad people, especially the employees, trying to make a living like the rest of us, but if you need a last resort, then go here.

I needed a recliner for one month, they wanted social security number, driver's license number and a ton of references. I said take my credit card number and deliver the item. I guess they are not used to dealing with people that have perfect credit and money in the bank. Low end rp-off business

In February 2021, I rented a refrigerator, as my refrigerator had stopped working. Unable to get it repaired, and due to a long wait time for a new refrigerator, I rented one from Rent-A-Center in Annapolis. It was delivered in a timely manner, however, the delivery men did not use a dolly when bringing it into the kitchen. Instead, they drug it across my tile floor, damaging multiple tiles, which ultimately had to be replaced. I inquired as to reimbursement for the repair work, and was asked to send the invoice to the store manager, along with photos of the damage. The store manager even came to my home to take photos of the damage, herself. I sent the repair invoice on 6/24/21, and followed up with an email status request on 7/29/21 and again on 8/16/21. I was told that the store manager would get right back to me, and I never heard back. I called the store, and the store manager said she would call me right back, just as soon as she got off another call. I called again, on 9/17/21 and have not heard back. I arranged to have the floor tiles repaired at my expense, and am still waiting for the courtesy of a reply regarding reimbursement for the damage. The store manager initially was courteous and appeared concerned about the damage at the time, but in the end was disingenuous about reimbursement. The lack of courtesy of a response and lack of reimbursement for damage is disappointing and unfortunate. A customer should be able to expect a concern to be addressed in a timely manner for damage done as a result of a delivery. Consequently, I cannot recommend Rent-A-Center for any rental of items.

Customer service is very rude in disrespectful had a miscommunication with another staff and instead of speaking to me like and adult decided to be very rude and hung up on me both times I called to complain about not receiving my item

Told me 600 dollars when I got the laptop now I find out it’s 900 for a 5 year old laptop , never got a contract, missed one payment during covid from lack of work and they literally could care less. They will take your stuff. Try Fingerhut online or After pay ......way better then these con artist.

NEVER EVER THINK ABOUT ASKING THAT NASTY STORE MANAGER TO HELP YOU GET ANYTHING. SHES VERY RUDE AND EVEN RUDE TO HER SALES MANAGER. TREATS HER LIKE A SLAVE. I DIDNT EVEN CONTINUE MY EXPERIENCE EVER AGAIN. ALOT OF PEOPLE TELL ME DONT SHOP THERE. EVA I THINK HER NAME IS SHES VERY RUDE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.
