“don’t even know where to begin! Doris, with the support of Annette, handled both the sale of my boyfriend’s home and the purchase of our home. Annette and Doris were both reliable, responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. In 24 hours she got an over ask offer on my boyfriend’s home! But, I wouldn’t be surprised if the purchasing of our home was one of the most dramatic transactions Doris has ever had to deal with. The first home we looked at was a total renovation and Doris was very knowledgeable about renovations and resale values as well to help us decide what we could manage and afford. It was my first time and I had a ton of questions. Doris was patient through the whole process. I also frequently gave her reminders that she didn’t need because she was always on top of everything and she never lost her patience with my unnecessary check ins/reminders. When we went under contract on a house that required more work than disclosed and more than what was in our budget, she helped guide us through reasonable requests and utilized her connections to give us confidence and reassurance with our decisions. As the transaction came more stressful (due to an adversarial seller’s agent) she truly empathized and also endured a lot of abuse from the seller’s agent which she always handled professionally and utilized her immense industry knowledge of real estate. After pulling out of the contract and needing to find a home for ourselves and 2 kids in 2 weeks, we were panicking but Doris remained calm and provided comfort. She was on vacation in Jamaica helping us find a rental or purchase, even though the inventory was low. We ultimately found our dream home and she negotiated a seamless and quick transaction which involved many people and we were able to close just 12 days after seeing the house. Doris has great relationships in the community and allowed us to utilize those connections to save us money, provide confidence in our purchase, and understand what was a reasonable “ask.” We love Doris and Annette and will use them for our future transactions as well as recommend her to others! We didn’t just find a home, we found a dream home.”
