Just had the best service experience. I needed a lot of help and had a lot of questions. Stephanie was so helpful and caring. I didn't know Petco price matches. I don't always shop here because it's not the most convenient location but I will make a point to shop here for all my pets. Big glass tanks on sale! Stephanie is an asset, reminds me of Nordstrom days. Thanks!

A week ago my sister got two parakeets from Petco only for them to die a couple of days later on her birthday. When we brought back in the birds to ask what happened and what went wrong an employee told us that they very recently got these birds and that they were probably too young to be sold. Why is Petco selling birds that are too young resulting it their certain death. Not to mention the employees insinuated that the new birds they just received were not even quarantined and were just thrown into the same cage with the rest of the parakeets to be sold. After doing some research I found that Petco seems to have a reputation for selling sick animals or animals that are too young to be sold. Way more than other chain pet stores like Petsmart or Pet Supplies Plus. Why is it that Petco treats their animals so horribly? Way more than other pet stores? I know it's not all Pet Stores that have this problem and much as Petco does, so I don't want to hear that all Pet Stores are like this since the evidence online tells a very different story.

The one star is only to be able to leave a comment. The most incompetent managers and worst groomers with the worst customer service. Grooming Manager has zero customer service skills. Lacks skills handling issues with a customer in a professional manner where they resort to cancelling an appointment without a courtesy call or an explanation. Very rude. Store manager lacks the fundamentals of running a store and the functions they are able to carry out such as refunds. And then you have the groomers; please read other reviews before you trust them with your pet.

This question is for the owner of Petco in AnnapolisMD. Can you tell your customers, WHY is Megan still working at your establishment. Knowing of all of the bad, and rude encounters that she has have with your customers. We have noticed that she had been reported several times, and months apart from each other. Last month and six months ago , but she's still there. So, is this the type of service that you would allow your customers go through. But the only thing that you say to us is that you will use the customers complain to better your company. BUT SHE'S STILL THERE. BEING RUDE TO PEOPLE ????

Came here the other day with my boyfriend to buy some more fish for our tank, a tank that didn't have any fish yet but was definitely ready. We've done other tanks in the past and have had success. We told the guy in the fish section the fish that we wanted, then he asked us a couple of questions then continued to tell us that our tank is a "death sentence" because of what we used to treat our tank (which is not true at all, we both have been doing tanks for years). We decided at that point to just leave. As we were walking away, he told us that he wouldn't lose sleep over us leaving and began doing a mocking cry noise. I also heard him laughing. I was very confused because although my boyfriend & I were obviously upset/mad that he wasn't going to give us the fish, we never said anything even remotely rude to him, we just walked away. I was very disappointed because I used to love this petco & their fish selection, but I will no longer be getting my fish or any of the other supplies I need from here. I have been working in customer service for years and would never talk to a potential customer that way.

I returned two packages for Amazon and they never scanned the second package. Went back next day to check on it and they said they did and it never went into the system. So someone messed up and I consider it not good work ethics that they said, they scanned it twice, and they never did. Had to call Amazon to try to get my refund. Not happy with them at all at Petco.
