WHAT a lovely store, full of the prettiest and well-made "objets d'art" cleverly presented in ways that gave me loads of ideas for decorating my own home. Best of all, the items are reasonably affordable for the high quality. I must have spent an hour admiring all the beautiful vases, paintings, furniture, textiles, hold-alls, etc. When I finally made up my mind later to buy a pair of decorative ceramic herons, the saleslady could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Altogether, a wonderful place!

Bottom Line: Beautiful furniture, artwork and home decor, much of which reflects the rich nautical and hunting traditions of Maryland. Maryland Avenue has some of the most distinct and classy shopping in downtown Annapolis and The Peake House doesn't disappoint! A long time favorite of my Mother's, I now too really enjoy looking at the beautiful furniture and home decor at The Peake House. Everything in here looks very high end but much of it is reasonably priced. Here are some of the treasures one can expect to find at The Peake House: - Beautiful pillows and cozy throws - Ceramic lamps - Original oil paintings - Holiday decorations - Small pieces of furniture - Tableware and linens for entertaining Not only are the items for sale beautiful, but like much of downtown Annapolis, the interior of this historic location is very quaint. Be sure to head to the back of the store to climb the beautiful staircase to find more treasures upstairs!

Ann and Julie gave our home a facelift. How fun to see our stuff re-purposed and looking new! Everyone who visits says "Wow!" when they see the new look. (Did you know large mirrors can be hung vertically? Who knew?) They have a great eye. Wish we'd heard about them years ago.
