Nice fella running the place. Small but it’s got some great items. Picked up some fresh mozzarella today. Plan to be back often.

I can’t remember how I found Olmo Bros., but I am very glad I did!My wife and I took a ride out to Olmo Bros. one Sunday and it was well worth the trip. Larry is the sweetest guy, like the Italian grandfather I never had! More importantly, his market may be small, but it had many of the Italian specialties I was looking for, especially the homemade cheeses and bread (especially the bread!).

Larry Olmo welcomed us as new customers and friends. We had a delightful experience shopping at our neighborhood Italian market. Larry is passionate to provide his friends the best in Italian food and culture. We purchased fresh moo-zarella, salami, and par-baked Italian bread. All were delicious and I so appreciate having him as a purveyor of fine Italian food.Salute Larry!

So glad I stopped by! The owner Larry, was so friendly and even offered a glass of wine while shopping and chatting! Larry sources all the seeds for his vegetables from Italy and makes the best homemade cheese and bread! Highly recommend!

This is the absolute definition of a hidden gem, very hidden since we only heard of it through word of mouth. He's had his store for 15 years and we've lived here for over a decade and only just found out about his wonderful small store, we've been missing out!!! Larry the owner, makes fresh mozzarella, Italian bread, ricotta, etc based on his Italian family’s receipts and traditions every week by hand! Absolutely small batch that’s why he is only open 3 days a week for a few hours to sell everything. All ingredients are from his farm or his farming neighbors, you definitely taste the difference. He will give you instructions on how to prepare and serve everything in its best form. The handmade mozzarella is wrapped in saran wrap so not suspended in liquid (everyone has a different preference), it was like peeling an onion because the mozzarella had so many delicious layers. We loved everything he made and it was so wonderful to talk with him about all the unique and delicious things he makes.

I am a lover of all things Italian. As a child, regardless of where I was in our 2 story house, I could smell pasta water boiling on the stove … before the pasta was added. I used to tell my parents that I wanted to marry an Italian man so that I could have an Italian grandmother. I’ve been to Italy twice and have seriously considered retiring there. All that is to say that when you go to Olmo’s, you’re getting more than a taste of Italy - you’re getting the Italian experience. From the moment you walk into the shop, you are greeted by the unforgettable Larry Olmo. He will proudly show you all of his wares and will start pointing you towards samples, breads, pastas, fresh produce, and items in nooks and crannies you didn’t even see. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a history lesson on Italy and his family’s proud heritage. There is nothing in this shop that is not incredible. Most everything in that shop is either homemade or imported from Italy. The pasta is phenomenal, the bread is fresh and well made, the ricotta and prosciutto are to die for and the cannolis are the best I have ever had! I haven’t had the chance to try their produce but my neighbors have been singing his praises and will go to him for all his produce needs. It may be small, but don’t for a second think that’s a flaw. That’s authenticity and just how it’s meant to be.

I haven’t tasted such good ricotta, mozzarella, and fresh Italian bread since growing up in Endicott, NY; where this Irish kid always said “Yes!” to continual invitations to “Sit down! Eat!” by my friend’s “madri e nonne”. Most of the immigrants came to our town from the “heel” of Italy, close to the region Larry Olmo’s ancestors are from. The bread he makes tastes exactly the same (which means that his bread is tied for first, with my friends’ Mamas’, for best in the world).

It was our first time here and we loved it. He's very knowledgeable about the products he sells, grows and makes. We'll definitely be back!

Looking for fresh veggies for dinner? Or delicious mozzarella, ricotta, or EVOO for a great salad? This is the place to go to. Also fresh rustic Italian bread, cannoli kits and Italian condiments. Not fancy, just good.

Highly recommend everything! Especially Larry's prosciutto/mozzarella rolls, yummy ricotta dip w/olive bread crostini, homemade mozzarella too. Next trip, looking forward to trying his freshly made italian bread and salamis. So lucky to have this gem of a find so close by!
