Marc responded within two hours to fix a small electrical problem. He then verified that the entire system was working. All of this was done inside of 30 minutes and he would not charge me. I will be returning for future work (with payment).

Steve Madden, Marc Mayo and the complete team of M Yacht Services did a great job for our sailboat during the winter when the boat was on the hard and in the marina at Bert Jabin. Professional service and knowlegde. Great expertise and seniority concerning rigging. I also liked the way they informed me during the several jobs and the fact that they kept a close eye on the timeframe en kept to the agreements. Reliable partner.

M Services did an awesome job performing many different repairs and renovations over several months in 2022 on our 1982 Bristol 455 ketch. Steve and his most excellent crew pulled the mainmast and stripped and painted it to like new condition, repaired the keel step (it was badly corroded after 40 years of installation), replaced the standing rigging and running rigging, checked and replaced the chain plates, replaced the centerboard pennant, installed a new radar reflector, installed two WIFI and cellular antennas on the mainmast spreaders and a HF radio antenna into the aft stay, and arranged for the fitting of a new jibe and repairs to the mainsail. All was done in a most timely manner with superb workmanship. On top of that they allowed us to perform other work ourselves whilst the boat was on the hard (on a not to interfere basis with their work). I had M Yacht Services replace some caulk joints on my 38 Tiara. Marc was professional and knowledgeable, and worked with me directly. The got the work done in a timely manner, which was impressive given today's labor environment, and the quality was good. However, I have to subtract at least one star because of the pricing. I realize that good employees are expensive, but paying what worked out to $53/linear foot on a 3 day caulk replacement job was much more than I considered reasonable.

A big thanks to Steve and the crew at M yachts. My boat was dismasted during delivery, it arrived battered and crippled at Jabins. We lost the mast and had extensive damage to the boat. My wife and I were completely overwhelmed and really had no idea what to do. Thankfully we met Steve Madden and he walked us through the process - I can’t imagine how we would have done this without M Yachts. They did a fantastic job, it’s like a new boat. Steve is very kind and patient, and he has a great staff. I also appreciate that he follows up, and even after the refit, has provided services to us. Marc and his team have done all my repairs and upgrades on my Island Packet 44 for over 10years. They are the best in the business. No matter how small or how big always done on time and done right. 11 years ago, Steve and M Yacht Services fabricated a custom solar panel arch and cockpit rail for our sailboat, and we've been delighted with the quality and durability of their product. Always remembered them, so when it came time to step our mast and tune the rigging after the boat was trucked to Annapolis earlier this month, they were the folks we called -- and so glad we did! Communication was excellent, as was attention to detail ... which matters when you're counting on the work, alone in the middle of the ocean. I'm completely comfortable recommending Steve, Anna, and Brian. Best service we've had in a long time!

We can't say enough about M Yacht Services, Steve and their team. Our Yacht was damaged by the Hurricane in August. Once we engaged with them, the next day they were on site clearing the mast and head sail from the marina. Although our boat was a total loss, we highly recommend using this team for your service needs.

To us, the key components to a solid marine contractor are professionalism, communication, and meeting expectations. These elements were met and exceeded for our boat project by M Yachts. Steve Madden was our primary contact point, along with Marc, who handled all the mechanical aspects of the project. Anna had responsibility as project lead for all the rigging and together with her team, the implementation was achieved in a methodical, consistent, professional manner.We currently own a 2014 Hylas 56 which was rigged with a Park Avenue Boom that didn’t live up to expectations. When our sails needed to be replaced, we decided the time was right to change out the boom as well. After we researched our options, we decided upon in-boom furling. From our viewpoint and our budget, the logical choice was Leisure Furl. We contacted four highly recommended riggers to complete the work and chose M Yachts in Annapolis.The M Yachts team delivered the entire project on budget and on time! The work included the Leisure Furl boom, install of a new Andersen electric winch, painting the mast, new sails, forestay work, installing new batteries, some work on our propane system, as well as a bit of gel coat repair.We are very happy with the outcome. Our girl looks and feels like a new yacht! And she looked pretty top notch to begin with, so this is really saying something! The final invoice was spot on against the estimates and the boat was delivered to us on time. We would have no hesitation working with M Yachts again, as other projects “present” themselves. As a friend of ours says, “Things break when you are sleeping!”.As a side note, my wife and I have been sailing together for over twenty years. We’ve done some racing in Miami, the FL Keys, the Bahamas, and New England. We’ve cruised the entire eastern US seaboard and for the past five+ years (once we retired), we’ve been doing blue water sailing from New England to the Caribbean. We’ve had experience in many yards over this geography and would place M Yachts at the top of the list for professionalism, integrity, and a “get it done” attitude. We would feel very comfortable recommending M Yachts for any and all of the services described above.

Had MYachts conduct a rigging inspection. The technician suggested a date for extensive work to be done then he went silent. No responses. I find this behavior both incompetent and dishonest.
