Too many items with no pricing. 1 cashier lane open with 8 ppl in line. Staff directs multiple customers to a closed lane promising a cashier would be coming soon. After 5+ min of waiting with no cashier showing, several of us left the store leaving our items behind on the belt. Why does it have to be so difficult to shop here?

The German bread was delicious and we loved it hot and fresh. The fruit and vegetables on the other hand were horrible.

I usually don't visit this store for several reasons, but I needed something quick & it's close I hope I have your name right but Kessler went above & beyond from my arrival to my departure showed me were I could locate what I needed got me produce bags because there was none & was there 2 take my cart when I finished that level of service is appreciated & will have me come back 2 spend my hard earned money. The young lady at the cash register with the blonde hair was super polite didn't get her name & the other associate with the red streak was also very helpful! Thank U all

Love that I can get real bread here. Decent vegetables for a good price. Also my favorite thing is they have cheap bulbs in the fall!

Something was wrong with the Lidl app today. This was a bit annoying, but solvable. Unfortunately an African American female cashier (I believe she was in checkout 1) became aggressive and yelled at me in front of my child and other customers. While I was not in her checkout line, apparently she became annoyed my cashier was manually entering discounts due to the app not working (which was the right thing to do). A Store Manager had to get involved and thankfully asked her to step out but I will NOT BE SHOPPING THERE AGAIN.

I have been shopping at Lidl for a year or two now. During that time, they have never managed to update their price stickers properly. Items are consistently labeled with old prices or placed behind very conveniently misleading price tags for other products. I am referring to regular prices here, not sales that may be over. For instance, a 16 oz pack of $7 lunchmeat ham will be behind a sticker that says $5 for the exact same product, but that sticker is months old. Or, it will be behind a sticker for a 9 oz pack of the same ham and therefore much cheaper, leading hasty shoppers to think they are getting a good deal on the product sitting there. Oftentimes, the actual product with that smaller size is nowhere to be found, suggesting this may be intentional. Whether intentional or not, the result is that the only way to know what you will actually pay is to be glued to the app and check prices while you shop.Another major problem is that a lot of the inventory is expired, or so close to the expiration date that it is not worth buying, or nowhere near its expiration date but already bad. I have not had good experience with quality here, and will likely switch back to what may (or may not) be the "expensive" normal grocery stores.

I would like to tell the Annapolis manager about Oomy (spelling?) He may well be the kindest and most patient cashier in any grocery store anywhere. Two times he has gone completely out of his way to help me. If you have an outstanding employee program, I would like to nominate him. Thank you so much.

I'm not a fan, if Goodwill was in the food business it would look like this... They've already closed 2 Anne Arundel locations down, and I doubt anyone would cry if this one closed.

They put the new weekly merchandise up on Wednesdays. It is always worth looking over for surprise finds.Oh...and the food is a great value too ;)This is not a good store if you are looking for plant-based meat alternatives.

Interesting selection of goods - somewhat different than Aldi. Some prices are a bargain, but many are not. Out of 16 items I purchased, two scanned at a price higher than they were supposed to, so check your receipt.

I love the bakery here! I also like the variety of rotating items (clothes, gardening, home, etc) for affordable prices. Produce tends to be good. My only gripe is I'm not a fan of the layout. I usually end up walking the whole store several times. Also, the parking lot is deceiving. If you park near the entrance, when you go to leave, you'll be relatively far from your car. There's only one way in, and there's only one way out. I've never been to another Lidl, so my guess is all of them have weird over expansive layouts. They also don't have a lot of normal stuff I tend to be looking for. This seems to be the norm now, families going to multiple stores to get the most bang for their buck. Overall, this place is good for what it is. I wish Aldi was in Annapolis, would give Lidl some healthy competition. OH and the flow of check out is weird. Someone is usually trying to pay while I'm packing up, they tend to reach over me or go around me. More often than not i feel uncomfortable at check out -- like the employee(s) are staring at me to pack up. Dude, this is your system. Don't be mad at me!

I was really excited about this place when it opened but unfortunately I haven’t had a great experience the last several times I’ve been to this location. The produce section often reeks of rotten produce. One time I saw a mouse running around there, but paid no mind on the account of the fact that it was freezing outside. This was months ago. I came home with groceries from here last week. I didn’t notice when purchasing, but there was a chewed out hole in the bottom of the pretzel bag I purchased, as well as the 12 pack of soda I bought. The cardboard had been chewed through and when I got to the end of the pack, the last can touching the area where the hole was was completely empty. The mice are chewing through aluminum y’all. I was so grossed out.

Great deals at Lidl, you can't find much better pricing than here and Aldi. Selection is not as bad as other stores but price is better hands down.

Usually love shopping here. Today (3/14/23) the cashier at register 1 chose to continue talking to another employee & hand my receipt over her shoulder until I walked over to get it. Then looked over the other shoulder to say thanks. Way to make a weekly customer seem insignificant.

I really like LIDL and would give them 5 stars for value, unique items and freshness BUT you have to make sure the item sitting above the tag is the same as the item description on the tag. Picked up one wrong item and it cost me $4. Remember to bring your own bags and you DO bag your own groceries (like Costco). :-)
