I've used Kato Marine for welding over several years. Most recently I brought a boat in for a friend and customer that needed an aluminum arch welded. We backed up to their roll-up door and turned to getting the arch off the boat.That's when things got interesting.It took my friend and me six hours of labor to get the arch off due to limited access and some creative installation practices by the boat manufacturer. While an interesting story (that included snaking a plumber's pipe camera in to guide a socket wrench) the real issue is the consideration and support of Kato staff including owner Keith and service manager Jim. They loaned us tools, commiserated, supported our unexpected overnight stay in their parking lot, and generally made us feel like our pretty small welding job was the most important thing on their agenda.Absolutely outstanding service and support. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
