Tillie was wonderful. Not only was she personable, she was very knowledgable and did an excellent job filing my taxes across multiple states. I felt like she cared about my experience and answered all my questions with confidence. She was great to work with and I would recommend her!

Not a good experience. We made an appointment days ahead of time, but were kept waiting for an hour. We explained our situation, only for the tax professional (who was very nice) to say he couldn't help us. He also didn't know about a Maryland first time homebuyer tax exemption and was Googling it. I had to prove it exists by showing him the official document. All of our returns were scanned in, but we can't see them in the portal. The branch took no responsibility, and had us call customer service. Customer service has so far not solved our problem and needs two hours to figure this out. I've called the branch, but no one picks up.

Great experience, Mark was very skilled, friendly, and a huge help in making sure my taxes were correct. Did a fantastic job in explaining how my state and federal taxes interacted.Only bit of advice for those visiting; if you've reached the NEX gas station, you've gone too far!

Block and Block online are two separate entities. I would get more value by entering in all of my information that is straightforward and then having a professional just help with the business expenses. The Online questionnaire covers most of the items and involves less back-and-forth for a person that is very busy during the day. It would also allow me to review the information that has been entered, as things progress, so I can verify the accuracy.I also have no way to tell if the itemization of the business expenses cost more or less than the preparation service itself.

Had an appointment scheduled with a reminder from #HRBlock, we arrived 5 minutes before our appointment to an empty building and when we called the support line were told this location has been closed with no work options given to get our taxes done.

Had a scheduled appointment with the "tax pros" only to arrive 5 minutes early to an empty parking lot and building. HR Block customer support informed us the building was closed and had no answers to why we were not contacted or options for a workable reschedule solution. How can I trust my taxes to a business that can't even track a single appointment or fix their errors.
