Love having them in the community! Fast and easy shopping. Prices comparable. Convenience makes the difference! Homemade items. Country market flair. Bakery, butcher, deli. Buy local.

Should probably tell the young cashiers not to put cakes and pies in the bag sideways... Had I even noticed her do that I would've said something... Common sense is free...use it..

The "butcher" sold me an expensive prime rib (several pounds) that I pre-ordered and it was salted! It was odd because he seemed to know my name. Creepy, pathetic and lame. What is wrong with these psychos?

Small town grocery store located in Cape St. Claire. They've got everything you need but be sure to go all the way through the aisles so you don't miss the bakery section on the other side of the store.

Absolutely hate coming here but it’s close to my home so I only go for emergencies. I feel like slavery was abolished just yesterday when I come here to shop ?.

A medium sized grocery store that is customer focused. Fresh produce and meat. A little pricey, between walmart and whole foods, but a human checks you out, and paper bags are available. You get what you pay for in this world, and at Graul's even a little bit more.

I liked this shop. I almost didn't go inside because the outside looked old and scary, but inside was cool. Had a bit of a hippy vibe, kind cashiers, good produce section, so much better than green valley or safeway (where the workers yell at you). I liked the salads already weighed out, and they had incredibly sweet and well priced berries and apricots. They also had international food and the homemade black bean dip is so good. Sushi looked very fresh. Well priced. I was pleasantly surprised. You can get everything you need and it's a fun and interesting experience too. Thanks!

My favorite grocery store. Awesome bakery and deli. Love the cakes. They always have fresh dinners to pick up and take home, too. The meat department has great cuts to take home and grill. Nice fresh veggies and fruits, some locally grown ?

I ordered a cake for my mother's 90th birthday and they did a beautiful job. It tasted great and looked beautiful. I talked to Irma when I ordered it and I felt as if she was treating this as if it were for her own mother, which made the whole experience really lovely.

Bottom Line: Small, locally owned grocery store. I love the idea of shopping at Graul's - a locally owned and family run grocery store but the charm just doesn't outweigh the cost, limited selection and cramped store for me anywhere. Most recently I popped into Graul's for a few groceries. I enjoyed checking out some of their specialty items like dips, spreads and baked goods and then it was on to checking off my list. One of the items I needed was a cucumber and even though I thought I had carefully selected a good one, when I got home it was rotten. Booo. If it was just a rotten cucumber I could overlook it but the overall experience just wasn't good. The staff is not friendly and the aisles are cramped. Plus the ice cream aisle smells odd because the kitty litter and dog food are next to it. My understanding is the grocery store business is tough and margins are narrow. For that reason, and because I really do want to support locally owned small businesses, I've given Graul's the benefit of the doubt for a long time. When the vampires are coming I'll stop in Graul's for garlic but otherwise I am going to skip it.
