I recently walked in to Giant Pharmacy without an appointment to get my Covid-19 Booster. I was welcomed and seen in approximately 15-20 minutes. It was a good experience. ?

This is a horrible pharmacy to do business with. The wait times are way longer than average, and their operations are a complete mess. Their head pharmacist is a very bad communicator as well. She changed her story of why I couldn't receive my medication 3 times and came across as very rude. I know my experience was not a one off as multiple doctors have shared that they are rude and extremely hard to work with. Save your self the stress and go to Patient Care Pharmacy across the street where they are pleasant, efficient, and actually care about their patients.

I called and was on hold for a very long time and they forgot I was on hold. When I called back, I got no apology, and the lady, Brandy, was abrupt and rude.

This pharmacy was good last year. No one answers the phone or hangs up on you after answering. Long lines at the pharmacy counter.

I have used Giant delivery and before that Peapod for years. I was due to receive groceries Friday by 8:30PM. They never arrived. I contacted their Customer Care Service (which is a joke) and left messages. I also emailed them. I was informed I should wait 7 days for them to contact me. Never happened. They charged me over $100 for the order. I tried to speak with a person, not possible as grocery delivery happens elsewhere, not at your local Giant. After 10 days I was emailed a credit of $25. They acknowledged the error, and kept my money. Is this how they are profitable? Stealing from their customers? I will never use that service again. I gave them 1 star only because it was required to post a review.

Be sure to review your receipt when shopping here. They make plenty of mistakes, none of which are in the shopper's favor.Also, they do not update their posted prices in time.

The self checkout machines at this store are frustratingly outdated. They don't scan well and constantly throw errors about weight being incorrect. Giant is a very outdated store in general and I recommend going elsewhere.

They did some kind of update on their self scanning registers. It is unreasonably slow and dysfunctional. The self checkout area looks like a casino with all the flashing lights, but only 1 employee is stationed there to assist when the system stops you from scanning. Not many full service checkout lines are staffed, so that isn't the solution.

I'd give the Annapolis Giant pharmacy a negative number of stars if possible. The pharmacists (Brandy is the tech & Rachel is the pharmacy manager) LIE about fill dates & are grossly BIASED TOWARDS ANYONE WHO TAKES CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES FOR ADD/ADHD. I'm an EDUCATOR in this county & have been for years. The pharmacy staff told me that they wouldn't fill my medication because my INSURANCE wouldn't cover it until May 13. The last time I filled the medication was on March 24! I called my insurance company & they ran multiple test claims and said it would be paid for TODAY. I called the pharmacy back and they then said that my doctor was the one who refused the fill. I called my doctor & he called the pharmacy and found out that the pharmacist was "uncomfortable" filling the medication even though I was COMPLETELY OUT.The pharmacists at the ANNAPOLIS GIANT DISCRIMINATE and judge people based on the medications they take. I'll fill my medications anywhere other than at this business.

Wasted a several days to find out that they are not taking any new patients at this time. It’s for pain mgmt.then on the weekend basically they told me that they cannot fill it nor are they taking any new customers. (Could have told me two days ago and I could have informed the prescribing doctor of the situation. Now they’re closed) the way they have handled this is very unprofessional. To add we had been talking on the phone and seeking pre-authorization for the past several days and not once did they say they weren’t going to take new patients. Poorly managed and ran by unprofessional pharmacist who should have first informed me of the situation but now it’s a Saturday and my dr office is closed. They don’t care

Any time you make an appointment for immunization they are late- like 30+ min late. The techs are slow, and the entire system is poorly done.
