My child needed some medication but the pharmacy was about to close. I was concerned for my child and the pharmacist there, a young man, helped us with a friendly smile. I cannot thanks him enough for going the extra mile! He made the difference.

This CVS location is extremely understaffed. So much so, they are unable to open the drive-thru and there is always a long line at the pharmacy counter. The staff they have is very nice but, it’s obvious they are extremely overwhelmed. To boot, this location has modified their hours of operation to close at 5pm. Most working adults don’t even get off until 5pm during the week making prescription pick-up even more challenging.

Drive through is always closed. Only notice is a paper taped to the window so you don't know until you're already there.

I made a 2:15pm appointment for a Covid shot and 45 mins later I am still waiting to be helped. The pharmacist told me twice that it will only be a few more minutes. When I reminded her that I had a 2:15 appointment and it is currently 3:00, she sarcastically responded that she was busy and only has two hands. When they finally came to give me my vaccine, they didn’t have the moderna booster available, which was what my appointment was for. This CVS is horrible and has disrespectful employees.

I made an appointment for 4:50 pm for a drive through COVID test. I arrived on time at the drive through line with maybe 3/4 cars in front of me. After about 45 minutes in line i was next up. The care in front of me waited for maybe 20 minutes and was never helped. Once i got to the window i pressed the button many times with no help for about 5 minutes. I then called from my car and was on hold for another 5 minutes with no answer. I could see people working so i then began to knock on the window. Finally someone helped me. Horrible service.

This CVS location is less than a mile from my home, so that makes it the most convenient option. I have usually been satisfied until this week. I needed an Rx refill, so I called it in by phone. The next day, I received a text message stating that my order was ready for pickup. So I drove in and used the drive thru (the current pandemic warnings made that seen like the best option--I am over 60 and have asthma). A young man answered the buzzer at the window and I handed him my empty bottle so he could locate my refill. He looked at the computer and then said they were not able to get the medication, which was back ordered. I showed him the text on my phone saying it was ready, but he could not explain, other than to say that the system sometimes sends those out automatically. I told him my physician had ordered an alternate medication in the same family the last time they had an issue, so he checked that one and said they had that in stock so could fill it instead, since I had one refill left. However, they were backed up so I should come back in an hour. So ok, I drove home. I never received a text or email saying the second Rx was ready, so before I made a trip back tonight, I thought I should check. I located a message on my land line (not the preferred number I gave them) saying, "Oh, Hi. This is Josh. It turns out we don't have that other one either. You can go to the Main Street location and they might have it." I am glad I did not make a second pointless trip to the drive thru window because I would have been livid. I know things are tough right now. People are trying to limit their trips out to comply with the guidance. Older folks need their medications and I would appreciate not having to engage in a scavenger hunt all over town to find the meds I take daily. CVS, you let me down.

It makes me sad to write this, because this used to be terrific pharmacy. And a I think that, with proper management, it could be again. Having said that: 1) A male employee loudly sighing and rolling his eyes, as I walked into the store as the first customer of the day; 2) I had ordered 25 dollars of photo products online for pickup there. They could "find it" despite my receipt", and were really rather unpleasant. They were undergoing renovations at the time, and the attitude was "tough luck." Those were presents for my godparents' 50th anniversary.. "we don't care" was not what I was expecting. 3) Real hostility and uncooperativeness , in the pharmacy department. There had been some sort of mixup, and my 88 year old Mom's Medicare number had gotten misplaced in the computers. We've been going there for 20 years, and used to have wonderfully helpful pharmacists. It's taken 6 weeks to replace Mom's card, and because she can't get her meds, she has been hospitalized five times. I understand that this might not be their fault, but as a caretaker for a dying woman, the attitude I got, added to an already considerable level of stress. Pleasantness and/or kindness would have made it an easier experience. I'm sure that with a bit of customer service training, these problems could be amerilorated.. There are a few wonderful women who work behind the checkout counter, whose smiles are always day brighteners. If you've been going someplace for 20 years, you feel a certain amount of loyalty. I hope these seemingly contemptuous attitudes, are not meant to be: we all have day jobs that can take it out of us. Looking forward to the day that the attitudes here, improve! Until then, will be patronizing the CVS on BayRidge Road, where helpfulness and customer care are a priority. I urge you to do the same.. it's not far, and it's enjoyable, not stressful and difficult. We've spent thousands and thousand of dollars at Cherry Grove, over the years. Silly me, to think that would actually mean something.

Wow ...... let's start at the it's clean ok it is clean but the service leaves something to be desired. It looks like a cvs acts like a cvs but when you get inside people treat you confused like they get paid to help you.
