Stumbled upon this store today while on a day trip to Annapolis. Was immediately struck by how incredibly diverse the selection was. There is literally something for everyone. Kids books, graphic novels, comics, non-fiction, fiction, anthologies, historical, new issues — whoever is cataloguing this store is doing an exceptional job. We settled on a beautiful Black Panther anthology and a Bluey sticker book for our daughter. We met the store manager when we were there and had a wonderful chat with him. He was a pleasure to meet and gave exception service and suggestions. We try to get to Annapolis a few times a year, and this will be added to our list of “must go” locations when we’re in town.

Great shop with a huge selection of trades. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely stop in when you are downtown.

It's a lovely little comic shop!For once, a comic shop that has TMNT comics!I don't known why it's so hard to find a comic shop that had TMNT comics. But they had a lot of options for comics. They even had a few Mangas in there. I definitely recommend it!

Many amazing comics, mostly graphic novels. Located on Main Street in downtown Annapolis, MD. Only street parking. I went with my Mom last fall 2023. So far we got Captain America, All-Out Avengers, Iron Man, X-Men comics, & an Aquaman graphic novel. I will be back soon in 2024. My Momalso got me 2022 vintage X-Force & Hawk & Dove Comics.

Great selection, excellent customer service, chill atmosphere. If they don't have what you want you'll either find something similarly or better or the store will do their best to order your selection.

Fantastic locally owned business! Small shop but crammed full with books of all types - standard single issue shelves (older and new releases), graphic novels spanning all genres, other books on unique and interesting topics from a wide variety of authors, some table top RPG books (D&D, Pathfinder) and related graphic novels, children’s picture books for multiple ages and topics, and a few of interest toys for children and adults. I didn’t have time to look at all available items in the 30 minutes I spent there, I’d love to return to explore more.Wheelchair accessible but not a lot of room to maneuver. There’s a small lip to get into the store that requires either a push or some momentum or muscle to get into the shop. A single stroller fit with us without issue.

Bottom Line: Neat, organized and interesting.I wandered into Capital Comics with a friend while we were shopping Main Street. I know next to nothing about comics. This was my first time in a comic store and I enjoyed it. Being on Main Street, the store has a quaint storefront and delightfully creaky hardware floors. The store was clean and organized. I looked around at the comics, books, games, trinkets and such. My friend, who knows way more about comics than me, noted this was a really nice comic store. She bought some comics for her family and I bought a new card game and we were on our way. It was a bit busy when we were in there and it seems like the employee was on guard in the back of the store where the register is located so there wasn't much in the way of a greeting or service. I'd gladly pop in to this small business again to see what catches my eye but I don't foresee me becoming a comic connoisseur.

On Annapolis Main Street, Capital Comics is the store for local comic book aficionados. It packs, a lot of “PUNCH” and “POW” in a small and convenient set up.The shopkeeper was camera shy, but his love for the store was apparent. After perusing the store and enjoying the artwork and displays, I bought the Invincible Compendium Volume 1. I am hooked on the series on Prime and this will be a way to stay in tune while I wait for the next season.If you are on main street and love comics, make sure you stop in at Capital Comics.

Excellent comic shop, carried every volume of a comic series I wanted to grab for a Christmas gift. ? Very helpful staff both on the phone and in-store!!

Visited 8/6/22.Cool place and the guy working the counter was super nice and helpful. Seemed knowledgeable as well. They have a lot of newer comic books and very few old school comic books from the 80-90s. I was hoping for more of those but I guess those are hard to find so I can understand that.Spent a good hour browsing. There are not many comic books stores left so this is rare gem. Worth the visit.

My family enjoyed shopping in this store today. We had a few questions, and the person working was very helpful. There is a very good selection of single comics, comic compilation books, and graphic novels. I recommend making Capitol Comics one of your Annapolis stops.
