I have been a customer of this cleaners for 16 years and recently I dropped of a $500 salvatore ferragamo shirt there to be dry cleaned they completely ruined the shirt by putting it into a washing machine when I took the shirt back to them to tell the owner and his wife who I’ve known since 2007 they proceeded to be non helpful and rude saying that it was my fault and that I put it into the washing machine I am a single man who’s lived alone most of my life I do not own a washing machine!! In no way shape or form did I do anything to the shirt which is why I gave it to them to have it dry cleaned When I had asked them to compensate me for the expensive shirt that they damaged the owner who was male proceeded to refuse to take responsibility and be rude toward me a loyal customer for all of these years i even asked him to just take responsibility for the issue an that I wouldn’t even want to be compensated anymore and I would just throw the shirt in the garbage and leave and he still refused to take accountability I can’t recommend anyone use this business ever they’ve also ruined a pair of linen pants that I gave them to have dry cleaned back in 2010 an guess what those were ruined because of them PUTTING THEM IN A WASHING MACHINE and not having them dry cleaned like they were sapost to I will never come here ever again an you shouldn’t ether

Oh boy, where do I even begin with Capital Cleaners in Annapolis? I dropped off a few garments there on April 15, and when I picked them up a few days later, I was in for a nasty surprise. One of my dress shirts had a rip in the back with three circular dots, lightly white in color. Now, I'm no stranger to laundry mishaps – I served in the Navy's laundry room for a hot minute – but this was something else entirely. When I took the shirt back to Capital Cleaners to sort it out, the woman behind the counter refused to take responsibility for it, even though their little stapled tracking number was still on the shirt! After much back-and-forth, she finally agreed to take the shirt to her manager and promised to call me.Well, guess what? Two weeks went by with no word from them. Nada. Zilch. So, I had to call them myself, and who do I get on the line? The same lady who was rude and short with me the first time around! She promised to have the manager call me back, but I didn't hear anything until yesterday. And guess what time they called? 7 PM, right in the middle of my dinner. Seriously, who does that?The guy who called himself the owner, Jung Woo or whatever his name was, didn't offer me any explanation or compensation for the damage to my shirt. Instead, he insisted that his business couldn't possibly be at fault because of "nothing." Huh? Are you kidding me? Look, I get that accidents happen, but the complete lack of accountability and professionalism from this company is outrageous. And let's not even get started on the state of their shop – it's an absolute dump. Seriously, if you value your clothes, time, and sanity, stay far away from Capital Cleaners. They clearly don't give a damn about their customers or their reputation.

We took a wool rug in to be cleaned because of a pet stain. The rug was 9x12. It took a little longer than expected, because the person who cleans rugs for them had trouble with the stain. But the rug was spotless when we picked it up, had no chemical smell, and the cost was a little over $200, an excellent price for good work. They have free delivery as well. We will take our other rugs to them in the future. Very courteous, very friendly business.

Worse service ever!!! They stained my all white Nike Suite & when I attempted to take it back or request a refund, the lady became argumentative and refused to help or refund my MONEY!! Do NOT go here!! This wouldn’t be the first they’ve ruined my items. One time before I dropped a shirt and when I picked up the shirt the button fell completely off!! You would think this cleaner being in such a prime location, the service and experience would be better!

This woman truly SAVED the day for me today. She has a family owned dry cleaning business and I called her with an “emergency”. I knew there wasn’t enough time to get it done how I wanted, but I asked her to do the best she could. She took one look at me and my desperation and said “No, I will make this perfect. Come back in 1 hour”.And she delivered on her promise. It was perfect and ready for me in 1 hour.I was so touched, I had to go buy her flowers. I mean, she was the SIXTH dry cleaner I called this morning, and none of the others could help me. She went above and beyond, when she could have easily dismissed me.

I started going here 13 years ago for clothing and rugs, and I stuck with them because they have always been great. Their alterations have also been flawless. Super nice, right on time, and never an issue.

Been a customer of Capital Cleaners for over a decade. They clean and press my suits, sport coats and many of my wife's dresses. They are great with minor repairs. They also launder and press my dress shirts. I've always been pleased with the results of their work. I find them to be reasonably priced for the service rendered. I highly recommend them!
