The consultant came out and did a rough measurement. She was helpful with the fabric selection.

OMG! Customer service here is atrocious. On 4/12/17 I dropped off a mostly hardwood chair that needed seat and back recovered.....no reupholstery needed. Paid $657. Two and a half (2-1/2) months later, and I'm still waiting for the chair. Calls to employees at Annapolis Calico Corners bring evasive and sarcastic remarks. "We can't locate the re-upholster. They are out on the road." What.....no cell phones in 2017? "Ha, ha, ha.....you didn't know it would take this long?" The worst customer service I have ever encountered. I think Calico Corners has lost my chair.

Today I had a successful visit to Calico Corners Annapolis where I found the perfect upholstery fabric from the new stain resistant collection, of which they had many many selections.

I am going to have to agree with other reviews. I never write reviews, and my experience at this location has been bad in the past, but after my experience this week I will never shop at the store again! When I walked in nobody even bothered to look up from what they were doing! One employee was with a client, the other one was working at a table. After 20 minutes of looking at fabrics, I asked one of the women if I could ask her a question... she looked slightly annoyed and quickly answered my question... but not really. Then pointed to the Cryton fabrics rather than helping me. Then she disappeared into the back, never to be seen again. I have been shopping here for years , and I had a great salesperson named Gail! She has been gone for quite a while, unfortunately. I needed a lot of fabric too.... sorry Calico Corners! I will take my money elsewhere!

I have used this store many times and not had a bad experience. It is always best to make an appointment so you can get their undivided attention. Keep in mind that they work on commission so if you just walk in and they are with another person you will have to wait.

OMG! This store's customer service is atrocious. I physically brought in a mostly hardwood french pull-up chair over two and a half (2-1/2) months' ago to have the seat and small back recovered. It did not need re-upholstering. After charging me $657, my order has obviously been forgotten. Calls to the store have rendered sarcasm and evasion from the salespeople and manager. "We can't get in touch with the re-upholster now, they are on the road." What....no cell phones in 2017? "You didn't know it would take over 2-1/2 months....Ha Ha Ha" . Where do they find such incompetent employees and why are they so poorly trained in customer service?

Disappointing customer service, off-putting in fact. They have beautiful fabrics though. If you decide to buy a remnant, make them measure it for you (they are supposed to do it without asking) as they are perfectly happy to sell you something that does not exist.

Update- the project is 99% done and although things didn't go as smoothly as I would have hoped, it all was done professionally. They do carry some beautiful fabrics but by no fault of the staff there, they are still understaffed. Being understaffed makes it difficult when more than 2 customers come to the store at once but there's not really an easy was to plan that on the customers end nor the stores, so I've figured out if I when I walk in there are more than 2 other customers there, I'll return another time.

One Liner: This is a great store if you are searching for upholstery fabrics, drapery fabrics and homer decor fabrics in general. I love that I walk into cookies and water but more importantly I like that the staff is attentive and they will cut you a generous swatch upon request. The organization of this store makes what could be a totally overwhelming experience enjoyable. Fabrics are organized into different pallets so you can easily find a collection of fabrics that inspire you. I personally like the collection of aqua, navy and gray fabrics. They also have a section of outdoor fabrics in case you need something more durable or weather resistant. If you find a fabrics you like here then they will order it and it takes about 3 days to arrive, shipped directly to your home.

Truly one if the worst retail establishments and experiences ever encountered. Apathetic front desk, complete disregard for customer, and zero appreciation for the business.
