Beware of Annapolis Veterinary & Wellness – Money-Hungry and Unethical
I had a terrible experience with Annapolis Veterinary & Wellness, and I feel obligated to share it. They are solely focused on squeezing as much money out of their customers as possible. I previously left a review to warn others, but they somehow managed to take it down. Well, I’m back to share the truth again!
My dog was a regular patient here, and during my last visit, I simply wanted a diagnosis for my dog’s nose issue. Instead of addressing the problem directly, they just kept adding charges for no reason. I walked out of their office with a bill that came to almost $500 – for what should have been a straightforward diagnosis!
To make matters worse, when I asked for a prescription to get the medication online at a much more reasonable price (instead of paying 5x more through them), they stopped servicing my dog. They didn’t even have the courtesy to tell me in person. Instead, I got home to an email stating they would no longer see my dog because they “feel like we do not provide the necessary services for me.”
While the staff have always been kind and helpful, the vet is another story. They seem more interested in making a quick buck than actually caring for animals. If you care about your pet and don’t want to be constantly overcharged, I strongly suggest staying far away from this place.

Its insane to me you could utter these words , I have spent quite some money with you guys so as soon as i Stopped taking 2 things you referred because I noticed you all over price people you " let me go as a client" ? Please understand you lying does not save face for the terrible service you provide and I am 100% sure I would have stopped coming here prior to this visit if it wasn't covid and I actually came inside and saw how scared Mawzee was to see you( since no one could come in on the actual visits I couldn't review the medicine I was paying for ).
And since you do want to lie I feel compelled to let people know on that very same visit you stood there and said " Another person wanted to be seen today, however they don't like paying money" and laughed while I was in the room.
You are a terrible person and the audacity you have to lie is insane. Have some compassion in your heart I feel so bad for everyone else you are scamming with those outrageous prices.

Dr. Hamilton (and my breeder) saved my dog who was born with a clef palette, so I always bring this dog to see her when there is a problem. She and her staff are always professional, accommodating and spot-on with their diagnoses, care and treatment. It's not always what we want to hear, but it is what we need to hear, and Dr. Hamilton is very good at identifying options.

Caring vets that are very hospitable and listen to any questions or concerns about our pets. They reach back out quickly to us when following up on our pets.

I brought my 9-week-old Doberman (Buddy) here for ears cropped and dew claws removed. in-and-out procedure. I am very happy with the results. His ears are turning out beautifully. They did an amazing job! Clinic is the BEST for ear cropping! They are highly recommended.

Tried to sell me on a torn acl surgery for a paw injury. Didn't even splint the leg. Didn't take x rays. Told me her chronic knee problem was a misdiag.

There isn't anything Dr. Hamilton wouldn't do for her patients or her patients parents. And there is absolutely no other Vet that I would let take care of my animals besides her. I myself have worked with her and she's always been the same compassionate person towards all animals, both nice and nasty. I know this because I have 2 German Shepherds and one is nice and the other is not! She doesn't feed you a bunch of BS and will not push unwanted medical testing on you. She is hands down the absolute best Veterinarian out there!!

I have been taking my young Cavalier King Charles here, and the care and customer service have been consistently excellent. Tanjii is always friendly and kind with a great sense of humor, and I love how Meghan makes me feel like I own the cutest dog in the world! Teresa is great, too, and did a masterful job helping get the bloodwork done for my wriggly pup! Dr. Hamilton treats her patients with great care, and I can tell she genuinely enjoys her work. The office was short-staffed today due to staff illness, and I was super impressed with how hard Dr. Hamilton was working to wear many hats and make things run smoothly!

The staff is amazing! I called with an urgent manner for a 2 week old orphaned kitten found with a punctured eye and eye infection. They got us in that day, got “Cricket” abx and I believe she weighed a whopping 10oz. Well she is now 2 weeks older and almost 1.5lbs. Lucky little kitty and spoiled rotten.
