I bought a used car from Annapolis Subaru a few months ago for my son. My family bought 2 suburb foresters from them in the past so I was in a place of trust because of such a good experience. Unfortunately, it was discovered 8 weeks later that the steering fluid hose had a leak. When looking at the size of the tear where the leak was, I was surprised that the inspection didn't catch it. It was not something that just happened suddenly. I called and was told I would have to bring it in and that it wasn't covered. Granted it was a VW Jetta I had bought and not a Subaru. I took it to a local place I trusted and I had to pay $1800 for the repair. And now, the key has broke and I have to replace that. I feel as though there was a lack of integrity. I have now learned to take cars for a pre-inspection. I feel duped.

I was very happy with the maintenance service that "Shannon" the Service Manager provided me. She is honest, efficient, and reliable. My air conditioner went out and she had to order the parts for replacement. I also think that the mechanics did a great job. I used my extended warranty contract for payment. However, I am not happy with the Finance Department, because when I purchased the contract, my daughter and I were told that if the repair was made at their facility, that the $100 would be waived. This did not happen (similar to a bait and switch). I strongly advise anyone purchasing contracts via the Finance Office to get any additional information in Writing with a Signature. Do not take a Verbal assurance.
