We're in the market to replace all of our kitchen appliances and add a couple of new ones. We were at the Home Show at the Byzantium on Riva Rd and spoke with a rep for ADU. So we decided to take a ride over.The store is located in the Annapolis Design District off of Chinpaquin Rd. It's a smaller place with appliances crammed inside. Brands range from GE to commercial-grade, but most of their inventory consists of luxury brands.No prices can be found on the items, instead, you talk with a "brand representative" who explains the product features, offers suggestions and then builds you a quote that you may receive days later. We were there on Saturday and the rep told us we'd receive the quote on Tuesday. It's now Wed and we haven't received anything.It's strange that we even have to wait. Any other place will give you an answer in minutes hoping to make the sale.I guess we'll continue to wait for our quote, but I'm not confident we'll hear from them.

My wife and I needed a new dishwasher ASAP and knew exactly what we wanted. I called in and spoke to Meg who was INCREDIBLY helpful and answered all of my questions! Within 24 hours I was picking up our new dishwasher in time for our big family party this weekend. Not to mention their pricing was $100 lower than anywhere else!

Angela Burton was my sales representative and I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about it. I ordered my appliances a year ago during a pandemic. Angela made sure to keep me updated at all times. She went above and beyond to take care of me. All appliances were on time except my 48 inch range. She kept me in the loop over delays and delivery times. As soon as my oven came in, 2 days later it was installed. My appliances are beautiful and she helped make my dream kitchen come true. I will never go back to another appliance store after having such a wonderful experience with Angela at ADU.

I purchased a refrigerator, gas stove top and built in microwave. Megan was very knowledgeable about product lines and Jamie was good for scheduling deliveries. Both, customer service focused, good follow up and follow thru. They also carry a variety of lines.

I was greeted immediately and we began a conversation about what I wanted and I decided on a G E washer and dryer that would fit my needs. The price was right, the arrangements wereSet up for delivery, removal of old washer and dryer and installation ofThe new set. Thanks to Robert McKellar. And when the dryer that was delivered had been damaged, Robert worked out the arrangements forA quick exchange of the damaged dryer. When the installation could not beScheduled for the new replacement, Robert came early the morning ofAnd uninstalled the dryer to be replaced. The delivery was madeAccordingly and Robert came back after his work day and installed myReplacement dryer. I could not ask for better service and considerationFor my time. Great service! I had a major issue with my KitchenAid fridge and was getting no help from Worldpool. I contacted ADU and they stepped in to help! I would have never gotten the issue fixed without ADU (Gingers) help! Anyone can sell an appliance- great customer service is hard to find! I recommend ADU!!

Outstanding service!!!I went into the showroom looking for a replacement dishwasher, as most big box and chain stores were out of the models I was looking for. Rob took the time to listen what I was looking for, then followed up in a timely manner with options that were in stock. The prices were the same or better than the pricing I had seen elsewhere on units that would take months to be delivered. Never once did I feel less important than other buyers purchasing an entire suite of appliances, nor was I ever pressured to buy a more expensive model.Scheduling delivery was a breeze and the delivery team was very professional and friendly. I was installing it myself, and ran into an atypical problem with installation. I reached out to Rob, and he tried to coordinate a installer to help me out, but their team was booked weeks out. Rob offered to come by and take a look, as he had started his career installing appliances. He came to my house, on his day off, to help me solve my dilemma. While he said he was curious about the install issue, I was having, I feel that serving and helping his customers is just in his nature. In the end, he help me solve the issue, and made sure everything seemed correct before leaving.ADU has made me a customer who will gladly return, and will happily refer friends and family, as my experience was exceptional.

We ordered our very expensive appliances from ADU in November it is now April and we do not have all of them and the ones we do have are broken. The entire experience with ADU has been a nightmare. We thought using a local company would get us better customer service, it did not at all. They have a different story every time we talk to them and our dream kitchen has turned into a nightmare.

Great place to shop for appliances. The staff is friendly and gives excellent customer service. Chris was the gentleman who helped us and we couldn't ask for a better person to help us look at appliances. Would definitely recommend Chris and ADU to everyone.

Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because they were competitive with regard to pricing. Beware of ADU's return policy and restocking fees. Due to pandemic related shortages we were advised to order way in advance. We did and our appliances were delivered and stored in our garage waiting for construction to be completed enough to install them. By the time issues were discovered, it was past the return date. I advise you to open every single box while the delivery people are still there - even the very large items that have packaging that "looks fine!" We had some sort of problem with EVERY KitchenAid appliance purchased from ADU during our 2021 kitchen remodel. Some problems were not ADU's fault, but their customer service and problem resolution leaves a lot to be desired. Fridge #1 had a forklift puncture inside the factory shrink wrap! Damage credit they offered us was so low we accepted another customer's return of the same model. Microwave #1 did not fit into the space (salesperson had our specifications, so we trusted his recommendation!) at first they didn't want to accept it back at all but finally agreed (with a hefty restocking fee!) Replacement microwave #2 arrived with a major dent after 6 weeks. Gas commercial style range worked for a week before 2 front burners stopped lighting. ADU told us to call the manufacturer. Warranty service confirmed the defects but the parts needed to repair it are backordered until who knows when. When the chimney for range hood was unpacked and installed - it had dents in two places!

I have appreciated the service of a number of the staff at ADU - purchasing a new refrigerator and GECafe Induction cooktop in the past year. Additionally, the service representatives who have installed and replaced parts in our home have been excellent and very careful during these times when we are all observing safe practices to stay safe and virus free.

My husband and I have been so impressed with ADU. Our entire experience from start to final installation was outstanding. Angela was our sales rep - she was knowledgeable, professional and patient. It was one of our bigger purchases and my husband and I asked many questions, made several changes to the quote and thru it all Angela's experience and excellent customer service was so appreciated! The prices quoted were very competitive and sometimes below the other major retailers. We also felt so much better after Leonard came to our home and checked all the measurements to make sure the installation went smoothly. I have never written a review on installers before but I have to say Nick and Tony were outstanding. They worked efficiently, very approachable, friendly and part of the service was they cleaned behind the fridge and oven before install. We are so thankful that both Nick and Tony were our installers. So I think you can see we would recommend ADU without hesitation if you are looking to change some of your appliances.
