This company has never made me to feel like I am a bother, instead they always make me feel like we are working together for the best interest of my business. Each time I have to email my customer service team, the respond so quickly that I am never left wondering if anyone is going to help me. They return calls so fast and have answers. “This is a wonderful bank with exceptional customer service. There is always a person to speak with on the phone or in person at the bank. Everyone is very knowledgeable and even if they need to get more information regarding an inquiry, they have always followed up with us in a timely manner. For online banking they have a very easy to navigate and straight forward website and services. We like having an actual physical bank to goto and take care of things in person. Their rates are competitive and FDIC insured, we've dealt with larger national banks but alot of the larger banks seemed disorganized and spent more time passing on issues from one employee to another vs resolving even simple things for customers. Highly recommend Bank of Glen Burnie for banking and other financial services because of the personal care and fantastic customer service from their staff.”

“I just went into the NGFCU website. I do this several times a week and it has drastically changed and NOT for the better. Now if I wanted to see everyone's accounts I have to toggle between three (3) pages of screens. Why are ALL these options now on the main screen when I look instead of segregated! THIS IS WAY, WAY TOO BUSY!!! I understand change and usually, I find pros and cons. I can find no pros to this change. Further, I snip and clip the transactions into a document electronically for future reference and mark notations next to the transaction line items regarding what was purchased and/or why money was deposited or transferred. Further, now there is tons and tons of unnecessary white space spreading these transactions down multiple screen pages. If I want to print the newly captured line item transactions (which previously were in straight lines right under each other) I now have to waste two (2) to three (3) times the paper and printer ink! Is the credit union in cahoots with the printer suppliers? This new website is an extremely backwards step and is detrimental to productivity as well as costly to the consumer from a printing aspect and printing supplies aren't cheap! I have been with the credit union since I started work in the area for many, many, many years ago. My mother had accounts there when I was a child and I have now worked for my company for 40+ years with an account there. I have gone through many revamps and upgrades through the years. I have never had one that I absolutely disliked the way I do this one! What a sad day for website updates!!!!!!”

I called to see what exactly I needed to prepare for this transaction. Ms. Jennifer answered and walked me through every little detail beginning to end. Sweet as pie!!! I was more than confident when I pulled up to the drive through. When we arrived at the drive through Ms. Belva ( praying I’m spelling that right) was AWESOME. I have never in all my years banking with M&T dealt with a teller so polite and kind! She didn’t rush me or my grandmother although it seem to get busy as soon as we pulled up. I had the nerve two make two transactions lol but she still was patience and kind! With everything in the world going on today sometimes it’s just nice to be nice! “Went to close my savings account, since is was forbidden to keep. Was well greeted at the door. Alexis Smith was very professional and went above and beyond to assist me with the transfer. She asked if I wanted to open a new account to act as my savings account, as to keep the money separately. I asked, would I get a new bank card since it's a checking account? And would they look different?Unfortunately the cards would look the same so she suggested to link the accounts. So I can keep one cards for both accounts. She also updated my account so I can receive the rewards. Overall, she was very knowledgeable and very courteous.”
“Great customer service. Representatives almost always available by chat and people actually call me back. It's easy to talk to a live person. Even better, I feel good about my money staying in my community. I like that they make loans to my neighbors. I wanted to bank Black, but the Black-owned banks didn't offer the services I needed. Banking locally in Prince George's County is banking, Black, for all practical purposes. I'd rather keep my money here than at some giant corporate bank that survives on taxpayer handouts.”

“Since January, I'd been waiting for a resolution to a problem with an estate checking account I opened as my deceased brother's personal representative. I finally decided to visit a different SECU branch to discuss the problem with someone else. Lucky for me, John was working that Saturday at the Columbia office I visited.
