“My visit with Patricia was worth the hefty price (no insurance coverage offered). Since it is my first visit to the lower Southeast part of Asia, I opted to try this travel clinic. Patricia was very informative and offered good tips to prepare for my trip. In addition, she filled out the yellow travel vaccination cards for us while the other practioner my husband had did not do so and he was 'pressured' to take shots that may not have been necessary since he had previously visited the destination.So I am appreciative of the fact that Patricia did not pressure us to take any additional shots but just gave me her recommendations based on latest CDC guidelines.Highly recommend her.”

She thought to take some blood tests that the ER didn’t, and when they came back she told him to check himself back in. “Very valuable service provided with great professionalism and compassion. Had a parent who was experiencing some medical issues but would not go to the doctor. So finding Metro Direct Care Medical and Dr Kinney was a Godsend. He was able to come out and perform an in person exam of my father who didn't even have to leave his favorite chair. The doctors direct and friendly manner was such that my father cooperated fully and did not protest. The exam itself was much more thorough and long lasting than I thought it would be and the doctor stayed around and chatted for awhile about what his diagnosis was. There was no sense at all of rushing in and out to get to the next patient. He even suggested a house call phlebotomist who we used later so Dad could get blood work done also. Even more impressive to me he called a couple weeks later to check up on how Dad was doing. Highly recommended.”

“I brought my 3-year-old daughter for some type of allergic reaction and the staff were amazing. They quickly gave her the medicine and one of the staff stayed and comforted my 5-year-old daughter while the 3-year-old got a shot. They were all so maternal towards my daughters and I will never go to any urgent care ever. Also let it be known that I myself broke my hand last month and the staff here gave me a very sturdy splint that the doctors I followed up with were impressed about. This place is the best!”

I am always so pleased with the overall experience and interactions with all of the staff and medical providers at One Medical. “My co-workers and I had been exposed to COVID. Granted this location was offering rapid tests as we needed one to get cleared to return to work. It was hectic. Like most medical offices, this location was understaffed. Totally understandable. I have no complaints in regards to that. However, it was a little packed inside with everyone trying to check in and wait to get tested. I think we spent a little bit over an hour from check in time to getting our test done. The woman who did my test apologized for the wait and said that they were understaffed. I told her not to worry. The turn around results was 1-2 hours which is understandable as well. No complaints honestly just the crowd.”

Even when navigating early in the pandemic, the train was slower and realignments were needed and made the wheels never came off the train and the train never left the tracks! Many perks — I don’t have to remember any of my routine testing out side of the group like my colonoscopy. I’m a senior so medication management is important for me - they do that too.. One medical actually “manages” all my health care and healthcare needs. They understand not everyone is Tech Savvy - they some how manage to get it done -whereas other healthcare providers most often have the “too bad figure it out (yourself) Importantly it is relatively cheap compared to other boutique medical providers. It’s very much affordable for a person such as myself — a retiree of modest mean can pay with a degree of comfort. I can’t say enough about why you too should have One Medical.”
