“I called the WHITE PLAINS — Post Office™4660 CRAIN HWY, WHITE PLAINS, MD to locate a package I sent hold for pickup that my customer could not pickup. The person answering the phone was extremely polite cheery and helpful. She had the package and I notified my customer.”

“Al of them were very polite and worked fast. The problem is that they don't have enough personnel attending the big lines. The person processing the passport was very diligent. The post office clerk was very fast and polite to everyone despite the big line demanding different services.”
“The post office has been getting a lot of slack these days. But I just had to give praise to the young lady that runs this post office location (and by herself), Cheron. I guess I arrived as she was reopening from her lunch break (oh yeah, the main issue I have with this site is the hour lunch closure, and the lack of parking) and there had to be 5-6 people waiting to be serviced. And we (me being the last to be helped) were all in and out of there in no more than 6-7 minutes. I've never seen anything like it. I've gone to other post offices where there were 2 or more people working the counter and it took longer than that. Very efficient, and I could tell she knows her stuff. I will be using this location more often.”

“I visited the Kingstowne post office yesterday, and I was overjoyed. The entire building was decorated for Christmas, which was a very surprising and delightful sigh after years of not being able to even acknowledge it.
My sales associate, Mr. Truong, has always been amazing. He has a sarcastic sense of humor I appreciate, and always try to educate you what did you do wrong ? and, that I can say whatever funny I want without him even batting an eye.
For the lady who had to deal with a rude customer, I am very sorry. I am also sorry for everyone who is lashing out at you. Remember that you never know what another human is going through, so it's important to be kind.
I did experience some negativity at this location before, but everything has improved lately, which is a great sign that things can change for the better.

“Excellent to so so service in this post office - depending on who is working. After going to this post office since 2023 I can say overall the service is mostly excellent. A few times it was disconcerting to see how dismissive, unprofessional , and cold the service was especially when it took a long time for someone to finally assist me when there were no lines, ringing the bell, and no one in the post office. I took one star off for the times that happened.”

Yesterday, my daughter and I went to the Ft Washington Post Office for passport renewal services. Victor was so professional, kind, efficient, and knew exactly what he was doing.
The Department of State sent us a letter that her passport renewal application was received, but we completed the incorrect form and provided us with the correct form and instructions for next steps.
Victor greeted us warmly. We had our part completed and Victor immediately knew what to do. What a breath of fresh air. I believe we were in and out within 7 minutes. I told Victor that he was a God-send. I was sharing this experience with a friend and she also commented that she has been serviced by Victor multiple times and the experience has always been phenomenal

“This is not a RETAIL STORE. They are a Bulk Mail Unit and distribution center for 22314 area code. They do not sell stamps, certifies, money orders, priority boxes, passports, drop offs etc.”

I was trying to do a change of address for an elderly relative from out of state and had made 3 trips to my local po re this issue with it still unresolved . ONE call to Miss Copeland and she clarified the issue, took steps to help fix the problem and made my life a whole lot easier!

However, I would say that in the last 8 to 9 months. The culture here has shifted greatly towards customer service and satisfaction. The employees they have now really do seem to care.
