I failed, due to my passenger and driver side tints. Umar took my tints off, and my vehicle pass inspection. He was very knowledgeable, and efficient. “Been going to Gray brothers for several years for odds and ends. I went in one day to get some baloney. When I opened it when I got home, the only place that baloney belongs is, in the trash. Several green spots and the baloney was "slimey" to the touch. I dumped it, not taking any chances with food poisoning. It didn't smell bad, but I wasn't taking any chances.”

TL:DR - Hiring process is crap and annoying to deal with, Hispanic section is good, and their donuts are AMAZING.
Come here AT LEAST for the donuts, fr worth it.
8 of my friends (9 including me) never got any kind of response when we applied to work here, plus the managers always seemed to mysteriously unavailable to be spoken to.
I've literally called the store, got told to call back the next morning, called the next morning, "Manager on vacation" :/
when will they be back? " X date." Thanks so much.
Called back on X date, "She'll be here tomorrow morning" thanks.
Calls back tomorrow morning, "Hi, not here. Call again tomorrow morning."
At which point I came INTO THE STORE to speak with this elusive hiring manager, just to be told that they were on vacation and won't be back for a while.

So suffice to say, hiring process seems messy, outdated, unreliable, and flat out non-functional at times.
The website needs to be updated, the employees need proper customer service training because regardless of what I'm calling about, and who's answering, it's always in a tone that sounds like I might aswell be interrupting a neurosurgeon mid incision.
The only redeeming quality of this store is what it sells, and I'm not talking standard groceries.
Not only does Shoppers have a decent spread of hispanic foods, ingredients, drinks & snacks, but it's also got some of, if not THE BEST donuts you could buy from a store.
The donut chains like Dunkin or Krispy Kreme got nothing on SFW donuts, they got Croissant donuts (Cronuts), marble iced, Holland Creme (my favorite), jam filled, lemon pudding filled, boston creme, and of course all your standard donut types like powdered, brown sugar, plain and glazed, not to even mention some specialty ones they have on occasion like the apple pie filled brown sugar, or marbled icing cronuts.
Plus they're reasonably priced, which automatically raises the rating for me.

However, I came here, Yates Car eash and they are still offering the interior service. Everything cost $48.

“This is a no frills station that also has lowest prices in the area. Ive filled here for the past 4 years with regular 87 and their fuel has always been excellent quality. Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 is that the diesel pump side is almost never cleaned up from spills and I end up getting it on my shoes.”

“Speedway can only get a 20 out of 20 from me not just for price but moreso for its role it played for me in fighting a red light ticket just up the block at Gibbons and South Patrick street. Speedway is one curb cut away from Gibbons which is very important in my story. You see, the City Council of Alexandria has very specific rules on red light running IF you actually ran the red light.
I did not.
I fought the photo enforcement ticket all the way to Court which meant first going to the police station hearing to see the police 'evidence' only to watch the cop go white when I presented my evidence. The difference between the Cops evidence and mine was literally night and day, truly. The Cos evidence was tampered with.
How the gas station played in to beating the photo enforcement ticket was their kindness in letting me get gas of course and also park near their air machine so I could walk the steps from curb cut to Gibbons, photograph and video the light changes.
The Judge was gobsmacked. Took one look at the Cop, one look at me... I had exposed how the City of Alexandria knowingly, with intent, uses fraud to exploit Gibbons and S Patrick's light being a cash cow- minutes away from the highway interchange.
Thank you Speedway for your kindness and, of course, great gas prices in Virginia.”
